บท 278: Trouble 3

"So I suppose I can get my gifts now?" Chairman Wang asked, looking at Lijuan with a cheerful smile. He was definitely looking forward to seeing the gift Lijuan had gotten him. He had spent quite sometime rehearsing happy surprise faces he could make when he opens Lijuan's gift, since she had asked him to appear very happy. 

Lijuan decided this was the perfect time she needed to catch her breath and compose herself, "I'll just go get mine from the car." She said as she quickly stood up to leave. Yun was about to follow her but she shook her head and told him she'll be back soon. Shan took the opportunity to excuse herself from the table and hurried after Lijuan.

"Juan." Shan called immediately they got outside.

"Not now Shan. Let's just get the gift and return inside." Lijuan said trying not to let Shan see the tears in her eyes.
