บท 199: I Love You So Much

Having food in his stomach helped Roman feel a bit better too. After dinner, he played with Scarlett as she giggled in delight the entire time and he felt himself relax. He had done things like this a hundred times. It was routine. Familiar. Normal. How had he forgotten that earlier? 

At 7:30 PM, Penny took the baby and changed her diaper before putting her pajamas on. Bedtime. He knew this routine too now that he thought about it. Scarlett always went to sleep with a bottle and a lullaby. 

Once that was done, his wife collapsed exhaustedly onto the couch. "Ugh. I love her but she really wears me out. Working full time was so much easier. At least she's cute."

Roman suddenly recalled that Penny had been working part time from home since her maternity leave was up. Harry had been very accommodating since she was his best friend's wife and he was essentially Scarlett's uncle.
