บท 254: The Second length of the journey

Elder Cyan pokes the fire while Brom stands up in front of the tent.

"Aren't you going inside? It will be a chilly night. Just sit beside the fire, here." Said Elder Cyan to Brom. He finally give in and took a seat in front of the elder. They went quiet for a while, just looking at the ripple in the fireplace. Elder Cyan makes a caftea and gives it to Brom. "So, how much of our conversation that you were listening to?"

Brom shrugged and spoke. "Enough?"

Elder Cyan scoffed and shakes her head. "You really are something else, aren't you?"

Brom's eyes fiercely gaze at the elder. "I don't think I was that amazing, especially for an elder that was probably more about this kingdom than I am."

"Why do you think I know the kingdom so well than you, young man?" Elder Cyan looks at him while shaking her head.

"Why do you think I know more about the kingdom? What do you know about me?" Asked Brom to counter her question.
