บท 6: CHAPTER FIVE
MARK
I woke up feeling something move between my arms, at first I didn't mind but the thing was persistent. I was also wondering what was moving because as far as I remember pillows don't move unless someone is taking it away from me.
"Don't take my pillow" I silently whined that made the moving stop making me smile a bit thinking I won the battle between me and someone taking my pillow. After awhile the moving started again that made me opened my eyes slightly that's when I realized that I wasn't exactly at my dorm room and the one that's causing all the moving was Eunjee.
I could take my arms away but I saw her really struggle and it quite cute to see her so I trapped her inside my arms. I made her think that i'm about to move away, so that made her move a bit but instead of fully taking my arms away I held her tighter, it was a plus that she wasn't facing my way or else she would have seen me awake and smirking. She tried to move again but my arms are strongly tangled in her waist making it impossible for her, the next thing she did was raised her head, but instead of succeeding it cause her demise because i took her action as a chance for me to move her body to face mine so as her head to fit in my arms.
To someones eyes this may look like I'm cradling her but I was actually trapping her. I know that shes uncomfortable that's why she keeps moving. I felt her sharp intake of air and how her heart beat so fast. I kept my eyes closed, and just kept breathing pretending to be sound asleep. I felt her smell my shirt, for some odd reason i felt comfortable hugging her like this. I mean I could just stop this right now and tell her that this was all a prank to make her uncomfortable. Anyways i wont be Mark if I don't do pranks.
I was about to tell her when I felt her relaxed and when I finally opened eyes I saw her comfortably sleeping in my arms. She nuzzled a bit in my neck making me gulped a bit. I looked at her and before i knew it I was already kissing her head. I didn't regret my actions though. She looks really beautiful asleep.
I allowed this action to last while it can and let sleep consume me again.

EUNJEE
I woke up still feeling Marks hold on me, I even felt him nuzzle behind me. It wasn't as uncomfortable as before but it still isn't normal even for the both of us. I felt his phone vibrate so I tried shaking him.
"Mark, you need to wake up." I slowly said, but instead of waking up he even hugged me tight.
"Five more minutes" my gosh, did i just hear his morning voice. He sounds really cute, I moved to face him and he let me. "This is comfortable" he said again which caused me to smile. I accidentally traced his nose but he didn't seem to mind. I looked at him more and thinking how did this happen between us. "Didn't anyone tell you that staring is rude" he said before opening his eyes. His eyes that caught my own eyes.
"If your done being comfortable maybe we can go now. I'll take a bath first and try answering your phone. Its been vibrating non-stop" I quickly stood up without taking another glance to Mark, afraid that he might see right through me if we keep looking at each other like we did before. I moved towards the bathroom and locked the doors. I first washed my face and looked at myself in the mirror.
"You better stop Eunjee. Don't be stupid. Don't even think about it, after all of this is done his going to leave you and be the idol he is supposed to be. He is not for you. Remember that" I reminded myself through the mirror.
I turned on the showers and take the bath i need to clear my mind. I though back when i was looking through Marks eyes, he was beautiful. I kept forgetting his an idol. His world shouldn't be with me,I've made him do things like marrying me for instance. Although its our parents promise to each other, still i could just reject but because of the inheritance I accepted my fate. He doesn'tdeserve this though.
Guilt was filling my heart, i wouldnt be shocked if one day, when everything is done, and when are both compensated, if he'll leave me and continue his life. I should atleast be ready and guarded, right?
I cant afford loving someone right now.
"YAH! Eunjee, your stronger than this. You better stop all your illusions now." I cleaned myself and chose to humm instead so to avoid thinking about Mark again.

MARK
"Hyung, Good your awake. Do you want us to drop by and fetch you or are you coming with Eunjee-noona?" Jackson asked
"I'll just come with Eunjee, anyways manager-hyung will meet me at the basement." I told him
"Hyung, you sound a bit sad? You didnt get any last night, did you?" Jackson tease
"Shut up. Ill meet you later. Bye" I ended the call before Jackson could say anything else. I still remember Eunjee's eyes though, i never knew or took notice how beautiful she really is.
I mean after all the sudden arrange marriage and all the fuss about her inheritance, all I ever thought of her was nuisance. She was even cuter when she suddenly diverted her eyes when we had the staring contest awhile ago. I cant think of her that way though. After all, we are only in this kind of situation because she still needs to get her inheritance and honor his fathers last wishes. When the time is right we'll go on our seperate ways and forget about each other.
I heard the shower turned off and minutes after Eunjee came out wearing nothing but her towel. She must have forgotten i was still here, she was even humming while going through her things. When she finally notices me, she shrieks and holds tighter on the piece of towel thats covering her whole body.
"I thought you took a bath outside. How are you still here?..." she rambles, she was embarrass and it was showing because her cheeks are as red as tomatoes. I grinned at her went to take my clothes from the hangers before looking at her again.
"My things are inside your bathroom, remember?" I reminded her since mom made sure that I also have my things inside Eunjees room, and because we both wanted my parents not to worry we decided to keep things that way so it was only natural that my shampoo and other things are inside her bathroom and not outside.
She blushes even more after realizing her stupidity, she docked behind me and went near the bed. "You should go and take a bath now. We need to get there ahead of the other since I need to prepare for the physical exam." She says before turning away from me.
I went inside the bathroom and did my morning routine after I was done with everything, including wearing some clothes, i went out of the room and saw no one inside the bedroom. I took my phone and wallet and put it inside my pockets before going out of the room.
I saw Eunjee in the kitchen cooking something. She was wearing her usual skinny jeans and some random black see through top. She was obviously wearing some tube inside but her shoulder and arms are showing which made me a bit uncomfortable for some reason.
"Dont you have anything else to wear?" I asked her
"Why? Is there something wrong with what im wearing?" She asks eyeing her clothes from side to side.
"You look like you're going to a party." I stated before grabbing one of her pancakes.
"You are one imaginative kid Mark. I need to atleast look presentable when im meeting artists today. Who knows i might meet someone interesting later" she answers back which kind of tick me off.
"You do realize that your going to check upon guys and your wearing something thats showing too much skin"
"Relax dad. Im still going to wear my lab coat later and its not like im not wearing anything inside to cover the important parts." She stated before taking a bite of what she cooked
I didnt answer her anymore and took her keys from the counter table. "There is no winning to you, is there? Lets just go before we get ourselves late" i told her and she nodded not arguing about me driving her car. I still remember her insisting on driving when she was so tired last week.
She took out her shoes from the shoe holders and it made my eyes popped. "No. Na-ah. You are not going to my company wearing that." I told her as she wears her four inch high black heels.
"Why not?, its not like im going to operate on someone there. Im being professional here Mark, it would be rude for me to show up unorganized and this is what i usually wear when im doing check ups in the hospital." She explains before walking out through me and leaving me speechless.
I didnt want her to wear that death trap because guys will definitely look at her. Girls wearing high heels has that effect, they attract guys by looking like they have confidence to walk on those things and still feel classy about it. I know that because I am attracted to girls wearing things like that. They dont have to be full on make up or somewhat liberated to attract my attention. If i saw them walking while wearing high heels and still look simple, like hell they'll look really confident and yet classy, thats like a total package for me. I didnt want her to gain so much attention from guys, i only want her to look like that around me. Her blouse doesn't help with the situation either. God why am I being to possessive. I adjusted my hoodie jacket before going out and locking the doors.
Eunjees was already wearing her coat when i saw her beside the car. "Took you long enough. Now lets go" she says before going to the passengers side and waiting for me to open the doors. I unlocked the cars and she immediately went inside i followed her opening the driver side instead.
I drove from the apartment to the building for about twenty minutes, good thing there wasnt so much traffic along the way. Eunjee and I didnt talk about anything on the way she was busy reviewing some of our files anyways so i didnt bother starting a conversation. As i parked the car, i called manager hyung to inform him of my arrival. Turns out we got here first because Youngjae decided that its better to sleep more than to attend this check up.
"They are not here yet. You should go up first. Ill hand the keys to you later when we meet" I told Eunjee. She nods and collected her things from the back. But before she goes out, i grabbed her arms slightly and looked at her "please close your coat later when you check on us, or just atleast when your not dealing with the guys. That way i know that no one will disrespect you" i honestly told her before releasing her. She slowly nods before going out of the car. I saw her get inside the building and sighed.
I hope this day passes with nothing but peace.

EUNJEE
After hearing what Mark said, I was kinda touched that he cares about what others may say about me. I mean the clothes im wearing doesnt really show much but because its see through maybe it got him uncomfortable. When he first asked me about my clothes i was already getting annoyed and when he didnt want me to wear my heels i was already pissed. Thats why I didnt talk to him during the ride nor did i wait for him when we got out of the apartment. Everything made sense now, he was just being a gentlemen.
I entered the building and looked for the buildings clinic but i was lost and this company is not a small as it seems to be, they were definitely a lot of corners and rooms to this place.
Giving up, i took out my phone and called Mark.
"Yeh?" He answerd after the second ring
"I'm kinda lost. Can you please direct me to your clinic" i plead and heard him release a slight shuckle.
"What do you see? Is there something written that could specifiy your location" i looked around and saw one room that says Recording Room 4. I told him that and he said " continue walking left, then you'll see a stairs, go down one floor then turn to your right. The third room is the clinic."
"Okay. Thanks" I was about to end the call when Mark stops me and tells me to end it after reaching the clinic. I followed his intructions and reached the clinic right away. I ended the call and went inside and saw two other people inside.
"Ahh. You must be Doc.T" the lady said "I'm nurse Yu and thats nurse Ae Jun" she informs me before they bowed to me. "Starting today, we'll be assisting you to anything that you need. " she told me before taking the things in my hand and placing it to the table which i assume is my desk now.
"Thanks. Since this is my first day as the companies personal Doctor i hope you two help me catch up on what i missed. So lets work hard" i cheered in front of them and they both smiled.
We prepared for the physical exam and placed everything in order. I assigned them to their different stations so the work would be much easier and faster. Since the clinic is big enough, we didn't bother worry about the space we have for each area.
We were waiting for the guys when we heard a knock and saw JYP-oppa.
"Eunjee-ssi its so nice to see you here. I feel healed and in good health already" he tells me after patting my hands. I smiled to him and let him say hi to the other. "Well i just came here to formally welcome you and to see if you still need anything else before the guys come and invade this place" i laughed Jyp's last comment.
"Everything is good oppa. There's nothing else we need and i guess we are also ready to start now" i informed him and he smiles.
"Ill call them in then. If you need anything call me okay" he finally says before going out and closing the door. I went back to what i was doing before a knock on the door stops us all. Nurse Ae Jun opens the door and there we saw GOT7's manager bowing at us.
"Doc. The guys are ready with their physical exam. Do i tell them to come here all at once or do you want to see them one by one?" He asks me and so i gave him the instructions as to how the check up goes. He nods understanding and calls for the boys.
I took off my lab coat for awhile to make me comfortable and scanned the files placed in my desk.
"Annyeong noona. My name is Yugyeom and im GOT7's maknae" I heard Yugyeom introduce himself to nurse Yu and i tried to prevent myself from laughing for him acting cute. I faced his direction and when he saw me he almost tripped from where he was walking toward nurse Ae Jun. "NOONA! YOU ARE OUR NEW DOCTOR?" I nod to him while pointing him towards nurse ae jun who is looking between me and Yugyeom.
After a minute or two with nurse Ae Jun, Yugyeom came to me and was already full on smiling.
"Noona. Its so nice to know your our new Doctor. The others are really bothered because they dont whose the new doctor." He informs me
"Well, since i'm your new doctor you better listen to all my prescriptions or else" I told him before intructing him to sit on the examination table. Nurse Ae Jun handed to me his updated profile and I scanned it seeing as all his stats are the same. He kept looking at me and smiling waiting for my next action. "Since everything is normal and the same as your results last year I guess your mindful of your health." I placed his files next to him and took out my stets. I placed the eartips in my ears and the diaphram on Yugyeoms chest area. I slightly place the diaphram in his lung area. I walked behind him and did the same thing. I wrote my observations on his files and looked at him.
"I hope your not afraid of needles" i told him before taking out one syringe and two collecting tubes.
"Noona! What is that for? Isnt this just a normal physical exam?" Yugyeom asks, blocking me from going near him.
"Ofcourse this is part of your physical exam. Its not enough for us to see how you doing outside, we also need to know if your insides are good. Thats why we need to extract some blood from you." I informed him, i saw him gulped really hard and looked at the syringe I'm holding.
"Are you sure this is part of your job? Isnt this part of your prank or revenge on me?" Yugyeom asks which earned him a laugh from me and the nurses.
"Come on now. Give me your arm. This is going to take a minute" he inhales deeply before giving me his arms. He closes his eyes and i took that as an opportunity to do the procedure.
"Done" i informed him before inverting the other tube eight times to prevent it from clotting. He opens his eyes before looking at his arm.
"Waag! I didnt even feel a thing. Did you really inject me?" He asks and I nod. He stands up and hugs me "Thank you noona." He smiles again
"Yes.yes! Off you go now." I told him and he nods at me. After he was gone. I placed all his specimen to the free rack i prepared awhile ago and his files to my desk.
"Doc. You were so good. I came at your side thinking you might need some of my assistance while you were extracting some blood but you did it perfectly without any help." Nurse Yu praised me.
"Thanks Nurse Yu. You can call for the next patient now" i smiled towards her and proceed to what we were doing.
For every member i encounter i kept laughing because of their reaction whenever I take out the syringes and tubes. I didnt even feel tired maybe accepting this job was not a wrong thing afterall.
