บท 94: Mischievous

Silence hung in the air as we stared at each other from our respective places. Eventually, Cain clears his throat and rubs the back of his neck before returning his gaze to my face.

"That was quite the performance. The character really captures your personality." He suddenly compliments my acting as I furrow my brows together.

I turned my body to face him, leaving my things as is, as I closed the distance between us and stood one table across from him. "You were charming as a prince as well." I smiled, relaxing under his gentle gaze as I complimented him as well. It's true after all. He had such charisma when acting out the scene of his journey that I could see myself walking alongside him on said journey.

Cain ponders the thought for a moment before pulling the seat out from under the desk and patting his lap as soon as he sat down. My cheeks flushed at what he was gesturing me to do as I pondered whether to follow through with the action.
