บท 187: A Challenger Appears

It was just as Henry had said, he worked with the apprentices all morning until it was nearly lunch. Before he could go to the dining hall, he found the knights who decided to challenge him. 

"Sir Trenton," Henry said, still finding it hard to drop the 'sir' even though he was no longer his apprentice. "Would you like to spar after lunch? If you're not hungry, I'm more than fine beginning now. After all, this is what you wanted, right?" 

"He's always hungry, Henry," Maximus interrupted from where he had been shining his sword, having gotten it dirty after patrolling a bit that morning with nothing else to do. "You know this." 

Trenton crossed his wide arms over his chest. 

"I can eat later," Trenton said. "After all, it won't take long."
