บท 34: Chapter 33: A rank portal appears!
The two reached Baranggay Patag in just 10-15 minutes of jogging. The road was still misty and it gave off a very enchanting allure towards the people towards the people who were passing by.
Lynn breathed heavily as she drank from her water bottle and then wiped the sweat off of her body.
Shin looked no different from his appearance earlier. Only his hair was a bit ruffled but he didn't look like someone who even jogged.
Lynn looked at him in amazement. She couldn't help but be in awe towards Shin's physical appearance after a jog of that distance.
"What?" Shin replied. He looked at Lynn's sweaty body and his youthfulness started to infiltrate the castle on his mind. It started to control his body to erect a sharp flag on his nether regions.
Ahh men.
"Nothing. What are you going to do now?" Lynn said with a chuckle.
"Well, I've gotta buy some ingredients." Shin replied.
"Do you want this beauty to accompany you?" Lynn said as she smiled. Her smile deeply enchanted Shin.
"That would be my pleasure..." Shin said.
The duo went inside the plaza to buy all of the ingredients that Shin needed. The plaza looked extremely identical to the former plaza. But it was definitely bigger and more cleaner. Surrounding the plaza was a big parking space with food vendors all over thr place. The iconic former Irosin plaza was shaped like a square. The architects replicated this design but made it slightly bigger. Inside the plaza, there were all kinds of items and ingredients that you could buy.
The plaza was located at the old Irosin Eco park Zoo. But since the dungeons appeared, the government decided that it would a place very suitable to be made into a public market.
"Is this all you need?" Lynn asked as they stood near the parking lot.
"Yeah. How about you? Aren't you going to buy anything?" Shin asked.
Lynn shook her head and then said, "I still have some food at home."
"Alright." Shin said
[Ding Ding! Massive amount of energy appearing!]
The system suddenly rang in his mind.
'What?' He thought to himself as he felt his heart beat madly.
In an instant, the space around the whole parking lot distorted as a loud boom sounded.
The cars and tricycles all sounded as some even tumbled over because of that devastating sound wave.
The space ruptured and cracks appeared as a gigantic portal appeared in the parking lot. This portal was something that Shin had never seen before.
[Ding Ding! An A class portal has appeared!]
"A portal woah" A little kid that was in front of the portal gasped in amazement.
People started to gather in front of the portal to take pictures since it was common knowledge that they still had tons of time before a dungeon break occured.
But how unfortunate were these people.
"ROARRRRRR!!!!" A roar reverberated through the sky as a gigantic orc like creature appeared in front of them. This creature was 10meters in height and had a gigantic bat. Its enormous body towered up to the skies. Its body was coated with fur and it was wielding a gigantic bat that had thorns. But most of all, its eyes were shining red.
Behind him were dozens and dozens of 6'5 ft to 7'0ft orcs that had weapons.
"Ahhhhhh!!!! An orc!" One person shrieked as he ran for his life.
The people near the portal didn't even have the strength to move as their legs trembled.
"No...no... Don't come near me! Stop!" A woman said as she fell to the ground and desperately crawled backwards.
That gigantic orc suddenly grabbed her by the foot and started to open its mouth. It munched on her body as painful shrieks were heard.
The gigantic orc laughed as it ordered its soldiers to attack while it sat there in front of the portal as if it was watching a play.
The surrounding people vomited at the sight. They were just normal humans! They weren't SMBs, there has never been a Dungeon Break in Irosin since that day! How could they even have the mental strength to battle the sight in front of them?
"Red...red eyes! An A rank monster!"
"How!?"
"Quick call the guilds! We'll fend them off while we wait for backup!" A man that had eyes that glowed orange said as he and the more than 20 people behind him fought the regular orcs. They knew that in front of that A rank orc, they were nothing but ants. Fortunately, these people were principled and showed no hesitation between running and then saving the lives of regular humans. They were SMBs that were stationed here by their respective guilds to supervise the area and to instantly report if there are any portals that appeared.
'F*ck! It's an A rank!' Shin thought to himself.
'I've got no choice.' Shin thought to himself.
"Go to somewhere safe." Shin said to Lynn.
"Huh? What do you mean! How about you!?" Lynn said as she worried over Shin.
"I'm an SMB remember?" Shin said with a smile.
"Go!" He yelled. Lynn nodded as she mustered up her strength and then ran towards a safe location.
