"Oh dear! We are all here for you. Though I am really surprised that the viscount died like that and the viscountess blamed you! Do you have any idea why she did that?"

Everyone's gaze stilled on her. As if they were trying to gauge her heart out and check it when Ana squeezed tears out of her eyes.

"It is all my fault that baron Neverie and viscount Felenotia were so angry with me. During my last visit.." Ana paused and looked at them nervously.

Her eyes seemed to be scared when they showed irritation.

"Ah! Are you wary of us? You should trust us, your highness. We are your friends after all." they pressed with a smile but their eyes were cold.

It was clear that they only wanted news. Something that satisfies their innate nature. Since they were sure that she was a meek lamb. They were not afraid of her.
