Perhaps because it had been a long time, but Savine was excited for her wedding. And honestly, that fact fascinated her.

The realization settled slowly. 

After the marriage was decided, her expectations for her wedding were mild at best. It felt like a waste of time, she was mostly planning to use it to spread her own name. She could introduce certain inventions during it, she could show off her magic, she could also show off the gifts she made for Alexis and Victarine. 

However, today, she felt somewhat bad for trying to turn this into something more profit-oriented. It felt like she was turning into one of those angels who only think about work. 

What a tragic life would that be?

She felt that maybe she should be trying to enjoy the wedding. Likely, this would be her only wedding in a long, long time.
