บท 46: The Battle Royale

There was great tension in the hall as the lords finally recognized their king's intentions. It can't be true, right? He wasn't about to put a human female on the throne while there were many competent to do the favors. 

None of the lords were in favor of this development. It wasn't enough that the humans were becoming prosperous with their growing technology and now, the king wanted to make their kind queen? It was impossible. They can't let it happen!

"Your highness, that's not a good idea," Lord Andreas was the one to speak up knowing he was the one at a huge disadvantage here. What was the use of having so many daughters when he couldn't have any of them become the queen? He was pissed off.

"And why is it not a good idea?" Romulus pretended to be taken aback by his disagreement when he already saw this coming.
