As soon as the heavens came to the realisation that Dante could still be useful to it, the hesitation and anger it felt at Dante died down considerably. And so finally, in a strange twist of plans, it decided to include Dante in it's little game.

It was this delayed decision that caused Dante and Klent to not recognise each other as Children of heaven at first.

And it was also this delayed decision that lead to the abrupt feeling of hatred between the two of them that we were seeing right now.

But even with all these factors and variables affecting Dante's circumstance as a child of heaven, Dante was still oblivious to it all.
