Upon witnessing the familiar and distressing tragedy unfolding before him, Alex found himself momentarily paralyzed, unsure of how to react. The dogs that had been chasing the injured one looked just as frightened.

As Alex contemplated rushing to aid the injured dog, the sudden departure of the car that had struck it left him in a state of shock. It was a classic hit-and-run incident.

For a brief moment, Alex saw with anger at the heartless driver's actions. Nevertheless, he had no time to dwell on his rage and hurriedly approached the motionless dog.

As he drew nearer, Alex could see the white dog's body covered in numerous bloodstains. At a glance, its injuries appeared even worse than those Jamu had suffered during his previous encounter.

Without a moment's hesitation, Alex immediately approached the injured dog, offering it the dew of life to drink. Gradually, the weak dog's breathing stabilized, though it remained feeble.
