They had tried to let him meet his old monkey companions through the cage, and while the other monkeys were fine, Black Claws really saw red, and they bared their teeth at each other fiercely.

So, once the animal hospital was complete, they planned to let White Brow stay there for a while, enjoying a patch of forest all to himself. When a new group of macaques becomes accustomed, they would then let him join them to see if there was a chance he could blend into the group.
