Chaotic Holy Land
The Demon King clenched his fists, dark aura swirling around them. "'That person' was actually telling the truth - someone really did come," he muttered, almost to himself.
Chu Fang did not flinch at the Demon King's display of power. Instead, he pointed his sword directly at the monstrous figure, declaring, "I won't let you have your way."
The Demon King smiled sinisterly. "And how are you going to stop me?" he taunted.
Chu Fang did not answer, instead chanting the words, "Time Stop." In an instant, everything froze around him, save for his own movements. With blinding speed, he swung his sword, a crimson line appearing on the Demon King's cheek as time resumed.
The Demon King slowly wiped away the blood, his taunting gaze fixed on Chu Fang. "You indeed have some tricks up your sleeve, but do you think you can keep this up?"
I know some people must be dissapointed by there not being a fight between the wo jin and the mc. personally, I've never understood those npc characters who just simply attacked the mc without thinking. if wo jin managed to craft such a plan for his breakthrough, he obviously knows the unspoken rules of the world, he calculated and concluded that chu fang wasnt worth making an enemy of the mc whom he couldnt figure out.
If instead of chu fang was a great heaven defying treasure that he couldnt resist, he would have probably deemed it a risk worth taking.
