By the end of the week I had detailed notes on the Five Threads Technique, and by the end of the second week I and the Union were kicked out of the Purple Dragon Sect army's camp with a mission to take an enemy fortress.
I was standing under the cover of a nearby forest and watching the fortress from a distance. It was small, but settled in a well-defended position on a side of a hill surrounded by a river. There was only one approachable road toward it.
Although I was several arrow flights away from it, my eyesight was great enough to see soldiers moving on the walls, and the glint of dantians of a dozen Qi Foundation cultivators stationed inside the fortress.
I patted one of the Union's heads.
Kill one, spare a thousand. Do the math. Math is supreme.
