บท 138: Into the desert of more beasts

I could only guess that the Silver Sage first appeared on the Forsaken Continent from around the same direction where I did. Ever so gradually, I got deeper and deeper into this place, searching for any traces of… anything.

After a full month of this, I was surprised to actually find it.

Well, the one who actually found it was the Union.

Its sense of smell led both of us to an old shack, built partially underground and hidden from sight by tall grass growing around and partially even right on the shack's roof.

I wouldn't have noticed it without flying right over it, but the Union sniffed it from several hundred meters away. All that Qi gathering in its Golden Cores was empowering the beast more and more every day.

The shack was empty—I could tell that immediately. Regardless, I flew there to explore it closer.
