100% I am Volibear in monsterverse / Chapter 24: 24

บท 24: 24

I am here.

With an incredibly crazy idea, muhahaha.

--------------------------

Months later.

After reuniting with the hive, Wilson sensed that the planet was about to enter a severe ice age. He moved toward the planet's core in search of the Hollow Earth within the planet.

However, finding the entrance to the planet's core proved to be incredibly complicated. He couldn't sense the entrance like the other native Kaijus on the planet. So all he could do was search and constantly look, while the entire world was covered in darkness and ash.

"I don't think I'll find a place like this," Wilson thought as he breathed heavily, scaling a mountain with the hive completely sealed on his back. His once-white skin was now covered in soot and volcanic ash.

Not only that, but his instincts constantly warned him to find a place to hibernate. But he couldn't do that until he left the hive in a safe place. "Now what to do?" Wilson wondered as he entered a large cave in the mountain he was climbing and lay down on the tired ground.

"I'll rest here briefly; I believe I must be close to an entrance." Wilson thought and closed his eyes to rest, but a different sensation from the sleep he was used to embraced him. He felt as if his soul momentarily left his body.

"But what?" Wilson wondered as he opened his eyes again, but now he was in a space of infinite light, like a vast sea of clouds and peace. "Wait a minute, this is familiar to me." He thought, and a figure made of light projected in front of him.

"Hello, my son, how are you?" God asked Wilson, smiling as he saw him. Wilson froze for a moment before kneeling and bowing his head. "I greet my Lord and Savior," God laughed at his action and conjured a pair of chairs and a table for them to sit at.

(Note: Wilson is still in bear form, but now small.)

"Well, let's skip the formalities," God said, serving a cup of tea for Wilson and himself. "I'm sorry about Longhga; her death became a canonical event in your original universe, so I couldn't intervene," God said with a hint of sadness in his voice, and Wilson lowered his head in sorrow.

"Is there really no way to bring her back?" Wilson asked timidly, and God fell silent for a moment before responding. "Even if I brought her back, she wouldn't be your Queen Bee anymore. She might have her memories, her body, even her spirit, but it wouldn't be her," God explained and took a sip of his tea.

There was a moment of silence between the two, and Wilson picked up one of the cups with his paw and tried to take a sip as well, albeit clumsily. "In that case, may I ask why you summoned me here at this moment?" Wilson asked, determined to get straight to the point, and God answered him shortly after.

"Indeed, I have a task and a reward for you for your recent accomplishments. Are you willing to accept it?" God said, smiling, and Wilson hesitated for a moment before asking God a question back, a bit apprehensive.

"Do any of these tasks put the hive's integrity at risk?" Wilson asked, a worried look in his eyes, to which God laughed, dispelling the tension. "Of course not, in fact, my task would even help you with your mission to protect the hive!" God said, surprising Wilson.

"Really? How?" Wilson asked in succession, and God laughed for another moment before placing one of his light-made hands on Wilson's furry shoulder. "Just follow the path I will show you," God said and lightly touched Wilson's forehead, sending a small ball of light through him.

"This is my current gift. As for your task, you'll know when you find it." God said and without giving Wilson time to question him further, snapped his fingers, causing the entire space around them to distort, and Wilson's soul returned to his body.

He immediately opened his eyes and looked around, wondering if what had happened to him was a dream or reality. However, something caught his attention at this moment. Outside the cave, a blue light shone on the ground.

Not just one, but dozens of glowing blue flowers sprouted from the ground, forming a long path down the mountain and leading into a lake at the mountain's base. "I guess it wasn't a dream," Wilson thought and began to follow the trail to see what God had left for him.

Soon, he dived into the lake after asking the bees to reinforce the walls of the hive on his back. He saw that at the bottom of the lake, there was a large hole with a massive water vortex spinning uncontrollably.

The trail of flowers also ended at the bottom of this frightening vortex. Wilson swallowed some of his saliva and swam towards the vortex, ready to face whatever was inside it.

Hey, guys, it's the author.

I'm thinking of sending our protagonist to the world of Avatar (the one with the elements) or some other crazy world you recommend.

It all depends on my mood, but suggestions are always welcome.

Also, I feel like resurrecting some of my old ideas, especially now that my grammar has improved. What do you think?
