As you can see Alex was in a happy mood because he already got almost 8 missions from those people. Also the time limit of those missions were at least 10 to 12 days so he could also clear them. 

Actually he could get many more missions, in the end he told them that he will accept those missions after clearing these 8 missions. Well the thing was that he did not have confidence to clear those missions at the same time in just a short time limit. But it looks like those people did not mind it and they also told him to try to clear those missions as quickly as possible.
