บท 57: What’s Happening to Me
"I heard that you went out for training for half a year, and since then you've become a lot stronger."
Tsunade led the way while recounting Fugaku's achievements.
"Ah, sort of," he replied.
He feels embarrassed as he recalls his trip experiences, mentioning that he is able to improve his combat skills in the first three months but doesn't return until another three months.
Tsunade gave a reminder: "It just so happens that my strength is barely enough."
"Of course I know..." Fugaku smiled sheepishly.
Tsunade's strength in the anime is not limited to her physical prowess. Her strength does not solely depend on her physique.
Despite not inheriting the Senju clan's physique, she has very good control over chakra, and from she has created her unique combat techniques.
"Do you think I can defeat you?"
Tsunade continued to lead the way, not turning her head but asking again.
As they converse, the two have already arrived at the arena. The ground is empty, including the stands, and the two guards at the door continue doing their duty.
"Eh? i guess… no... Probably ?"
He is embarrassed by Tsunade's question, and it could come off as bragging. His chakra control is trained based on Tsunade's technique as he remembers it. While it may not be as good as Tsunade's, his skill and proficiency might also be lacking.
However, his physical strength is many times stronger than Tsunade's, who is the granddaughter of the first Hokage.
So this is not his arrogance but reality.
However, when she hears his reply, she feels differently. He sees Tsunade's footsteps suddenly come to a halt, and she says it without turning her head.
"How can the Uchiha be so full of themselves? So... just let me show you..."
As soon as she said her piece, Tsunade quickly turned her head and threw a punch at Fugaku without hesitation.
The ground underneath her crumbled with a deafening bang as the force of her blow met his defense.
And as the two of them clashed with their strength, the cracks spread around them.
Tsunade finally looks surprised because her fist is actually stopped by him, not by any jutsu or weapon but by his bare hand.
He has caught her punch with a firm grip. This is not a ninjustu or techniques but a collision of pure strength between the two.
"I didn't mean to upset you. Why are you so angry?"
Fugaku asked, grasping Tsunade's fist firmly and staring at her with his Sharingan eyes.
He has sensed something is off in her tone earlier, so he has been on guard. When she attacks, he defends himself and catches her punch in time.
"Shut up, take this!" Tsunade yelled, pulling back her arm and kicking her left leg in a swift sweep.
He let go of her hand and ducked, barely dodging it.
Tsunade followed up with a spin, raising her right leg high and kicking down with force.
Fugaku became vigilant and raised his arms to block her kick.
With another loud noise, the ground caved in, and he sank into the ground up to his knees. The ground behind him also cracked in a straight line from her kick.
Fugaku couldn't take it anymore, so he pushed away her leg with both arms and freed his sunken legs.
He used the body flicker technique to move aside and create some distance.
Tsunade saw that he had defended her kick again, and she was both surprised and felt more competitive. She chased after him.
"Wait a minute..." Fugaku says nervously, holding out his hand to stop her. "Hey, time out, time out..."
"What?" she asked. Tsunade, who had been ready to fight, was taken aback.
Fugaku repeated himself, rubbing his temples. "You…you're making me dizzy."
When Tsunade threw her first punch, Fugaku was immediately drawn to her powerful stance.
But when she followed up with a sweeping kick, her ample bosom began to shake from side to side, turning the deadly move into a comical one.
Distracted by the sight, Fugaku's reaction was a little off when he tried to block her high kick.
Unexpectedly, Tsunade's kick sent Fugaku tumbling to his knees. His sight shifted from bottom to top, and with her legs apart, Fugaku couldn't help but feel sensual.
"Are you here to fight or to show off your assets?" he muttered.
Tsunade heard what Fugaku murmured and was reminded of that fateful night. A growl escaped her lips as she shouted, "Uchiha Fugaku... you're dead!"
Tsunade jumped up and threw a punch at him. He dodged the punch with such force that it created a deep pit in the ground.
"Fight back! Don't get distracted!"
Fugaku looked at Tsunade with a determined expression.
