'Who... is... that?!'

As the human's icy gaze pierced her, the female Demon found herself getting anxious. Her confidence was slowly dissipating.

The Middle-Class Demon couldn't even maintain eye contact with the man for too long, so she looked beyond him into the expanse around them.

Her eyes noticed several other humans—all unarmed as they watched the entire scene play out.

They were a safe distance from the carnage wrought by the human, yet their lackadaisical attitude was questionable.

It was almost as if they were in no danger at all.

It was beyond her comprehension.

'Humans weak. Humans dead. Humans lose!'

That was what she had thought.

But what was playing out in front of her was definitely not what she had anticipated.

"The time has come, Demon..." The human splattered the leftover blood, that dripped from his blade, on the ground.

His cold gaze did not leave her.

"... Time to die."
