Terim Polaris grew up under the shadow of his sister. The ten-year age gap prevented baby Terim from having much contact with his school-going sister. As he grew, he often witnessed Blair receiving various awards, while his own academic performance was less remarkable. Everyone will compare him to Blair and be disappointed at his low marks.
