Coral remembered that event clear as day. She had been prepared for this moment. All her life had revolved on becoming the next matriarch of her pack. From courses in leadership to studying the succubus' ancient language of Infernum, everything was in preparation for her role. Admittedly, Coral had not always been keen on it. She had always been stuck inside studying while her two younger sisters enjoyed a relatively carefree life.

What the young woman hadn't been prepared for was the fact that one of her dear precious sisters would betray the pack the moment she rose to be her mother's Beta. 

Their house, which was once filled with laughter and lightheartedness, had evolved into an ugly battleground. Ruby had gathered the most ruthless members of the pack behind her to start a revolt. Her goal was to kill both her sisters, forcing their mother to pass leadership to her instead.
