บท 8: CHAPTER 8
Then suddenly, after looking around, my steps stopped as if I were frozen in one place. Helek started asking me what happened and why I stopped. Because I remember when I woke up from sleep, it was dark outside in the afternoon. When did it become light because when I was going to his jungle villa with Helek, it was evening. How did I not notice when that darkness went away and when the light came?
One minute when Liam left me and I came out with Helek, it was still day outside my building. This means that maybe things can be fine; the darkness disappeared suddenly.
I looked at Helek happily and told him that maybe we can survive because now, but before I could complete my sentence, it suddenly became dark again, and as soon as that happened, I got completely stuck to Helek. He also wrapped his hands around me and held me tightly close to him. I asked him where to go now; should we go back to the car? Helek said that it would not be safe to go in the car right now because we don't know which monster will attack us, and I was also okay with this. There were many buildings around us, and I was thinking that maybe we should go into those buildings and find a safe place, but then Helek started running, and I had to hold my hand and run with him, and then he brought me in front of the grocery shop.
I asked him what are we doing here, he said there can be no better place than this, saying this he picked up a stick lying in his hand and he first entered the shop and I was behind him, he searched the whole grocery shop one by one to see if any monsters are hiding inside, till then I was standing near the main door and guarding that no monster enters, I was holding a chair in my hand to hit, then Helek also comes there and locks the shop doors from inside and says that it is safe here,
then I tell him that it was dark outside earlier in the afternoon and later it became day again, but the reply that came out of Helek's mouth after listening to me was unexpected, for me he said that he did not know that it has become dark outside, he could only see the day. I get lost in my thoughts, then he brings a new blanket and pillow and says that those things were for sale there; let us sleep on them tonight. There were a lot of food items there and water also.
After a while, we eat and lie down. In the staff room, Helek makes our bed and says that if both of us sleep together, then we won't feel scared. So we both lie down together, but there is no trace of sleep in my eyes.
And my shoulder is touching Helek's shoulder; that's why maybe I feel weird because I am used to sleeping alone. But after 5 minutes of lying down, Helek fell asleep; maybe he was very tired as he had been driving the whole day.
Then I also closed my eyes in the hope that I would fall asleep, and then I heard some sound from outside the staff room, due to which my eyes opened suddenly.
