As Byron's incantation reverberated through the alley, the ritual array was suddenly inundated with a potent bloody scent that seemed to emanate from more than just one person's blood volume. It was as if the blood of ten, a hundred, a thousand people permeated the air, filling his nostrils as though his entire body was submerged in a pool of blood.

The runic symbols within the hexagram contorted and warped like blood coursing through misshapen veins, radiating a brilliant blood-red light. Within the sphere of the 'Blood Grail' ritual, the world was figuratively stripped and distorted. The already twisted alley appeared to transform into the writhing esophagus of some colossal creature, and the irregular cobblestones on the ground became sticky, bumpy tongue papillae...
