บท 24: CH-24

Liam nodded his head in understanding, he does feel kind of sad that his only friend is moving away. "Then I'll call you"

"Oh that's amazing sure, we can still call one another," Kevin said excitedly, he thought that he might not ever see or communicate with Liam ever again, but then he remembered the cellular phone.

"Great, I'm sure you will have fun in New Jersey," Liam thought about it and without Kevin, he doesn't have any more reason to go to school. He will once again rearrange his plan.

To liven up Kevin, Liam talked with him about numerous places in New Jersey that are great for Kevin to visit. After an hour of talking with Kevin, it was already 4 pm.

Liam left the Feige Family's residence and after numerous goodbyes from Kevin and turning down the offer from his mother to dine with them, Liam left and went home.

As soon as he came home it was already dinner time, Liam sat at his designated chair and started eating the food prepared by his mother. "Uh Mom"

"Hmm yes, sweetie?" Silvia asked staring at Liam while holding the tray of salad.

"Kevin is moving to New Jersey," Liam thought that the first step would be to convince his mother, which is none other than pitying him, it was classic manipulation 101.

"They're moving to New Jersey? Oh sweetie" Silvia couldn't help but pity her child, she knew that Liam only had Kevin as a friend, and she felt bad that her son's only friend would be moving away.

"Um, so can I be home-schooled?" Liam asked having some sorrow in his tone while glancing at his mother.

"Well-"

"Sure I have no problem with it" Jhon stepped in before Silvia could utter any word. "Hon, what do you think?" John said as he glanced at Silvia.

"Well, Kevin is moving away, but you can still make friends sweetie, you have a lot of classmates you can befriend," Silvia said optimistically to Liam which earned her a grimace from Liam's face.

After dinner Liam couldn't help but throttle off to his room, he already felt dejected after his mother's rejection. "I can't believe I will once again spend time with those stupid kids"

"Anyways let's create another comic today" Liam looked at the stacked papers in his room and started to draw Dr. Strange's story, he was finished with Thor and now it was Stephen's turn.

And after three hours Liam was finished, and he minimized Stephen's story to three hours. He took another stack of paper and began drawing another hero this one he was going to make was special and it was: Black Panther

This year many black people are inappropriately sentenced to prison without even justification. That's why Liam decided to create the Black Panther story, though it might be controversial, this would be the first step in plunging racism.

Liam once again adjusted his time to three hours, he knows of what would happen next but Liam was keen on finishing this story. And another three hours passed by and Liam was finally finished, he touched his nose which was already bleeding.

Liam took a hot towel he prepared in advance and put it on his nose. "Well at least I finished two stories now" Liam put down the comic strips in his box and hit it beneath his bed.

Liam lay down on his bed, he was tired and his nose is still bleeding. As Liam kept on staring at the ceiling he immediately fell asleep.

Whilst his parents were still talking in the bedroom.

"I think homeschooling is the best option for him hon," Jhon said as he held the Hulk's story, he already finished reading the story but still he wanted to re-read it.

"Why are you forcing me to choose homeschooling for him hon?" Silvia asked as she stared at her husband.

"Well Kevin is moving away to New Jersey and our son is Left alone, you know that he always chose who he wants to befriend," John said.

"And what about you? You have been very busy with work these days." Lately, she noticed that Jhon has been busy with work, he comes home at 9 pm. This made her have small doubts about Jhon.

"There was a lot of paperwork," Jhon said, it wasn't that hard to notice Silvia suspecting him of cheating, the signs were already clear as day.

She would ask tons of questions and that's normal but it would include who he was with and a detailed explanation. John wanted to tell Silvia of his and Liam's plan and how much of a genius their son is.

But he knew that once Silvia knew what they were both planning they would be reprimanded or worse Liam wouldn't be allowed by Silvia to draw any comics. Jhon can already hear his wife's shouting angrily inside his head.

"Work huh?" Silvia said as she lay down on the bed not facing Jhon. "I'll think about it again," Silvia said as she slept, she was tired.

Another reason John never told her anything was he knew how Silvia would get, she would get stressed thinking of Liam not only that she was carrying a child so the chances of telling her were close to zero.

Kissing her forehead, Jhon put down the comic book on the table besides the bed and fell asleep hugging Silvia.

As soon as morning came, Liam and Jhon went to the building. The construction workers were already at the top putting the sign up above.

"What do you think?" Jhon asked Liam who gave him a nod of approval. "When do you think the sign could be finished?" Jhon asked the foreman.

"It would be done tomorrow sir, and the rearrangement you have asked for is complete. We didn't have to change the interior and just move the machines in place." The foreman said while they walked inside the building.

Liam could see that everything has already been changed to his liking. "Good" Liam muttered under his breath.

"Alright keep up the good work" John patted the worker's shoulder as he and Liam went to the office Liam would be in. "This is one amazing office," Jhon said as he looked at Liam.

"It is Dad," Liam said as he sat in the chair. "This feels kind of awesome?" Liam said as he imagined sitting on the chair while his secretary would come inside the room to give him documents, not only that he imagined himself wearing a suit with his curly hair slicked back.

"It is awesome!" John said as he put his hand on Liam's shoulder and pointed at the door. "One day everyone who would walk in that door would all be important people who will praise or strike a deal with you son"

"I'll create an empire, Dad," Liam said to his father with a smile, and Jhon responded with a chuckle. "I'm sure you will son"

"Am I interrupting something?" Thomas said he was sitting inside the office whilst the father-son duo was busy talking with one another. "You know you two are the same," Thomas said as he munched on an apple.
