The tantalizing aroma filled her mouth with each bite, but it wasn't greasy.

"The chef here is pretty good." He remarked.

Chloe Collins replied with sparkling eyes, "I know, that's why I love eating here."

"You come here after school?"

"No, school is almost an hour away from here."

Alexander Foster didn't respond, his eyes bearing a thoughtful expression.

After a while, he seemed absorbed in the joy of feeding her, not rushing to eat himself but focused on serving her.

"Have some soup." He pushed half a bowl of soup towards her.

Chloe, being thirsty, picked it up and took a sip.

She glanced at his bowl filled with rice and commented, "You're eating less than me. Will you have enough strength?"

Alexander looked down at the rice, her words echoing in his ears: Will you have enough strength?

He didn't say anything and continued eating silently.
