It was the first time in his life that Massimo felt that time was moving so slowly. Sitting beside Gina, who was undergoing a cesarean section, Massimo couldn't breathe properly, his chest tightened as he waited for the whole process to finish. Gina, who is only under local anesthesia, can still communicate with Massimo, who is currently talking to her. A few moments ago Gina refused to do a cesarean section, she still has the belief that she can give birth normally. However, when she felt the pain was so excruciating, Gina finally gave in and agreed to Massimo's request that she be able to give birth by cesarean section.

"How are you feeling right now, honey?" asked Massimo hoarsely.

Gina smiled even though the oxygen tube in her nose bothered her a bit. "Nothing, I'm just looking forward to meeting our child. How about you, how are you feeling? Your hands are so cold."

Massimo pursed his lips. "I'm nervous and scared."

"Scared, afraid, why?"
