บท 5: 05
It is already morning when Elisha opened her eyes and met the white ceiling inside an unfamiliar room. When she moved herself to sit, the sunlight that passed through the room's window touched and gave warmth to her porcelain skin. The chirping sound of the birds gives life to her morning.
Elisha suddenly remembered that today is her wedding day. She looked around to observe her surroundings starting from her bed, ceiling, walls, and other furniture. She is not dreaming. She is really experiencing right now the luxury of using a five-star hotel. She never had a chance to go inside nor be accommodated in a five-star hotel because her parents never brought her once.
The door of her room suddenly slammed open. Elisha turned her head and saw the face of Elaine, smirking, mocking her like an idiot.
"Any minute from now, somebody will knock on your door to fix your makeup and wedding gown. You know what Elisha? you should be thankful that somebody still wanted to marry you even though you have nothing to offer" Elaine said before she left Elisha alone in her room.
Elisha clenched her fist. She is already lucky that her other stepsister is not here, and she managed to endure the insults and mockery of Matilda and Elaine. If her other stepsister were here, it would be the worst day of her life because she will not only receive insult from her other stepsister but will also gain humiliation in front of everybody during her wedding.
Elisha received a text message from Jane after she took a shower, saying that her cousin successfully snuck the car inside the parking area. Now that Jane mentioned her cousin from the message, Elisha suddenly got curious about her cousin. She did not know that Jane has a cousin.
Prepare yourself Elisha, you already knew the plan.
Elisha nodded the moment she read the last words of Jane's message. To not get caught, Jane will attend her wedding to lure her parent's minds. If her parents saw Jane at her wedding, they would think that Elisha would never run away because they knew that Jane would always support Elisha. Her parents also thought that Jane did not know anything about her wedding. However, they are wrong because everything is well planned.
The makeup artist arrives at the exact time when Elisha just finished taking a shower. Elisha was astounded by the wedding dress that was provided by Mr. Wrost. The style was a vintage lace mermaid gown with cathedral train length while the back was open that shows the skin of the person who will wear it.
Elisha felt nervous when she saw the chest part of the gown. It has a plunging style with a cap sleeve. That style will probably show off her large breast that she kept on hiding when it grows. She is not used to wearing something revealing.
The gown was being prepared by the stylist in front of her as they started to put on her makeup and fixed her hair. After a while, the makeup artist and the stylist cannot help but be delighted from the result of their hard work. Elisha becomes a Goddess who is going to her royal wedding.
"Mam, your body was like a perfect mannequin and your face was so beautiful. You have elegant and long legs, curved like a bottle waist and a porcelain skin. I am so jealous" the make-up artist said while putting makeup on her face. Elisha's face blushed due to embarrassment.
No one compliments her before. This is the first time that someone said that they were jealous because of her body. Because Elisha wears a loose shirt and pants it hides her perfect body. Even Jane never noticed this before. The first time she reveals her body is during the day she wore the navy-blue dress of Elaine.
"T-thank you, everyone" Elisha felt happy because once again, she saw her beautiful self in front of the mirror but today was the wrong timing for her.
When everybody gets out to prepare for the wedding. Elisha asked her assistant if she can go back because she forgot something, but the truth is, she will go down to the parking lot to run away from her wedding ceremony. Her assistant allowed her, but she needs to make it fast because they are following their schedule.
When Elisha walked away to head back to her room, she opened the exit door at the end of the hallway and headed down to the parking lot. She looked around to see if there was anyone in the parking lot. After making sure that no one will notice her, she walked around to find the white car that was prepared by Jane's cousin for her.
Elisha found a white car near the exit of the parking lot. There was a handsome man standing in front of the car and waving at her. That time she knew that he was the cousin of Jane. They both smile at each other before the handsome man helps her to get inside the car.
"Where is Jane? She said that you will bring me to my location. Are you her cousin?" Elisha asked a lot of questions when the man started to drive the car.
"My name is Kristof, a friend of her cousin. I will bring you to your location. Do not worry" The man smiled at her. Somehow, she felt something different from the man. Why is he wearing a black tuxedo? Elisha taught.
Elisha did not expect that they would arrive at their location. When she got outside the car, she felt so shocked when the light and shutter of the camera started to get noise. He looked at the man who was guiding her.
"Where are we going? What is happening? We are in front of a big church and there are so many reporters and photographers. Are we going to attend someone's wedding?" Elisha asked confused. Everybody was smiling at her and saying their congratulations to her.
"To your wedding," the man said, still smiling at her.
"What?!" Elisha blurted out. To her wedding? but she thought that she already escaped from her wedding?
"You heard it right. It is your wedding with my friend... with Jane's cousin to be exact" the man smirk.
Elisha's eyes widened in surprise. She cannot believe what she just heard from him. When the church's door opened, Elisha saw the most gorgeous man on her wedding day. Her soon to be husband.
