บท 97: Thoughtful

''Why are you apologizing, did you go anything wrong? '' Nicklaus asked, his lips widening into a smile before striding to her and taking her hand, walking her to the car. Tiana was surprised, his expression flipped so fast that she even doubted what she had seen a minute ago.

Nicklaus held the car door open for her to get in before walking over to the driver's seat, today he was driving; he didn't come with the guard, so it was just the two of them.

Tiana sat down and watched him quietly; the frosty expression she had seen earlier had thoroughly disappeared, he was even smiling a little.

She swallowed; she was sure he was just pretending, because she knew what she saw earlier. Maybe he wasn't ready to talk about it, so she wouldn't ask him.
