"Is it alright if we talk about this later? I think we have a lot to discuss. Doing that in front of Xavier would seem not such a good idea." She suggested as she played with the water underneath her feet.

She knew that it was long overdue that they talked about the issues that ruined their relationship. If they were to move forward together in their relationship, they had to resolve their differences first.

"I would like that. What do you recommend we do? Do you like to go out to dinner with me?" He offered, unable to contain his excitement of the prospect of seeing her again tonight or tomorrow. 

He carefully studied her reaction, trying to read what she was thinking at the moment. He wanted a sign that she was on the same page as he was. And the topic of conversation would be their reconciliation.
