บท 128: Life out of the social scenes

"I have something for you." He finally took out a small rectangular box that he was keeping in his inner jacket.

"You bought me a gift." She was touched. Although getting gifts was a common occurrence in her line of work, she still felt that a gift from him was very special.

She was truly happy that he was thoughtful enough to go to all this trouble just to make her happy. However, there was a small part of her that was still disappointed not to see a small box instead.

She quickly buried that frustration aside, knowing that it was still too early in their relationship to be thinking of that. Then again, was she ready for such a commitment? With her career just kicking off again, would a sudden change in her life right now be good for her current situation in showbiz?

"It is something that you can wear so you would remember me even if we are apart." He placed the box in front of her.
