"Aren't you going to rest? It's getting busy here, because of the heat. You should have checked on me tomorrow." 

"No, Mrs. Luciano, you should be able to have it today. Plus, Mr. Leo doesn't know how he should explain it to you," the family doctor explained. 

Whenever Zella sensed they're lying, she paid attention to how their eyes relax. It's the spot weakest for the fraud, and the only body part that can show a person is lying. Zella wouldn't have an ordeal for now, and let them get tested with her stares. 

For sure, Leo has given a heads-up on what she can do. It's not surprising to find out the doctor's words to be a scheme. Zella should find the right time to bust them with their evil deeds.
