Silent stares, bear into your soul
And silent glares wear you down.
I stick out like a sore thumb,
It's notlike I wanted to fit in, in the first place
But why do they stare and glare?
Weariness in my soul,
I'm tired of all this,
Of being judged,
Of being ridiculed,
Of being persecuted,
Of being sad,
But in the end, when people stare I just glare back,
That's how it's always been
Maybe I don't want to blend into the mix
Maybe I want to stand out like a bright color amidst grey
My skin is too thin,
Unnerved from the slightest of stares
That's how it's always been.
