A mother spoiling her children
with gifts and candy
Little did she know they grew up rotten
When they grew older they asked for more,
Overcome with greed
So they paid no heed,
Nothing could satisfy their hunger
for power and objects
So they ignored their mother's sickness and gloom
Only when her pockets went dry
and she started to die
Did they realize,
they caused this with their abuse and
their reliance
But some still won't care
They looked around their space
to see which person
Was most suitable to leech off of
And slowly take away their life
And they still won't regret
