Isn't love just a foolish ideal
A way to immortalize ourselves
So that we may forever live on
Even if only in memory?
Men are such intriguing thing's
To invent such a "natural" thing such as love
But what if one doesn't want to love or be loved?
To only live one life
Without the web of stupidity that is love
Without need to live forever
Then there's no need for this thing called "love"
Because this "love" they speak of is only a concept
Impossible to fully grasp
There is no one that would truly do anything for someone else
Humans a greedy and needy
So why should they?
And so this wicked thing called "love" crumbles at their grasp
I wonder if their immortal now?
At the ruins of their "love"
Will they still live forever?
And this, my dear, is the foolishness of man
