She knew that Dimitri was right. She wanted him all right, but she was seriously overthinking the consequences that this decision could have on her.

It was different when she didn't know who he was, but now, even when she knew, her feelings didn't change one bit. She wanted to be with him, and she was considering his suggestion that they spend the night together.

The car sped through the night, smooth and silent, the darkness of the interior ensuring their privacy and increasing the intimacy. And again, Kelly made a wild decision.

Dimitri was staring out the window too, and he had one hand on the car seat. Kelly watched him for a few seconds and then slowly, she let her hand slid to his. Gently she stroked his wrist with her fingers, and she felt Dimitri tense immediately.
