"Is my wife trying to kiss another man?"

While Hazel slowly pulled her hands from the table, Ethan turned his neck to the entrance where Lucifel could be seen standing and watching.

After some seconds, Lucifel walked inside and stood right in front of Ethan, "You look disappointed, Beta Ethan."

Since Ethan couldn't hide his shock, he asked,"Your Highness, your wife?" He looked at Hazel as if expecting any explanation from her.

"Are you surprised?" Alpha Lucifel said with a slow smirk before he walked over to Hazel and dropped his arm across her shoulder. "You shouldn't be. We are going to be mated tomorrow. A big ceremony for only us both," he said, pulling Hazel closer.

Hazel didn't even pull away from his hold, instead, she stared at the ring and back to Ethan, wondering why the beta had requested it.
