บท 8: Chapter 8: Mission Launching Unit
"Do you got it?!", Shuzo inquired her with a concerned look in his eyes.
Cuifen shooked her head at it and reacted in confidence, "I just have to perform well isn't it?! Don't you worry I got this"
She then pats on Shuzo's shoulder and walked out from there.
The act of this Cuifen was so cool and savage that Shuzo was feeling a bit relieved at it.
He reckoned that if she continued with her confident nature then there is nothing much to worry about.
With that thought in mind, Shuzo smiled and came out from there.
He then leads Cuifen to walk out of that room and went to the lift.
The electronic screen of the lift instantly scanned the identity of Leina and Shuzo flashing out their details onto the screen.
With it, the lift immediately opened.
Cuifen turned to look at Shuzo puzzledly while Shuzo shooked his head.
The two of them then went inside the lift.
The lift automatic system made an instant robotic sound, "SU110 and SU111 where do you want to head too?!"
Startled by it, Cuifen turned to look around at the system in amusement while Shuzo respond to it, "Take us to the Mission launching unit"
The system compiled to it, "TO THE MISSION LAUNCHING UNIT, GOT IT!"
With it, the system instantly moved at the fastest speed and take them to the Mission launching room which lies on the other end, next to Vega.
After a few minutes of travelling, the system made the sound again, "SU110 and SU111, you have reached your destination"
With it, Shuzo caringly look at Leina and spoke up assuringly, "We have reached, let's move now"
Cuifen turned to look at Shuzo and shooked her head at it.
She then followed him towards the mission launching unit.
The Mission launching unit was another beautifully structured giant with the latest advanced technology in it. They have got all the skilled engineers to work for them. They have got the Rocket launch control centre, the spacecraft room, the high-end technology missiles room, the cabin for the long-range laser gun and fluid bomb meant for the mission to wipe off mutated species and the aircraft room meant for travelling to a short distance on earth.
And for the small mission like the REDP01 mission, they have got the road transport bulletproof trucks and jeeps.
All the kinds of equipment that are necessary for big to small missions are all found in the Mission launching unit. No wonder, the Special Unit is the most capable in the era.
Shuzo led Leina towards the road transport cabin.
Reaching there, the mechanic who was fixing the unit truck, came up to them and stated, "The laser gun on the truck is ready to use. I have loaded it perfectly. Wish you success in your mission"
The man then pats onto Shuzo's shoulder.
Shuzo turned to look at the man with his serious eyes and shooked his head.
The man then turned to Cuifen and asserted, "Good luck, young woman"
Cuifen shooked her head at it and smiled.
Soon after the man left, Shuzo turned to glance at Cuifen and noted in a stern face, "Let's move now"
Cuifen walked towards the driver seat of the jeep.
She was then opening up the jeep door.
Amused by it, Shuzo turned to look at her in puzzlement and inquired handsomely, "You are going to drive?!"
Cuifen reacted to it carefreely, "Isn't it better if I drive and let you do the work?! After all the mission is all about killing the zombies and the mutated species!"
There was some sense in Cuifen's words, after all her memory has been lost and she won't be able to use the gears properly.
Convinced by it, Shuzo turned to her and asserted coolly, "Then...drive safe"
Cuifen smiled at it and spoke in confidence, "Don't you worry! I am good at escaping trouble"
She then smiled at him.
The sweet charming smile of Cuifen was so powerfully healing that Shuzo felt a sudden calmness in the air. It eases the tension in his mind.
It was so soothing that Shuzo will be fine even if the whole world went crashing down into pieces. He just needs to see this smile of Leina!
While he was enchanting over it,
Leina turned to Shuzo and noted, "Hop in. Let's go for the battle"
Shuzo smiled at it. He then hurried to sit beside Leina.
Cuifen starts the jeep and sets it on to the driver's mode. With it, she will do all the driving instead of the jeep moving automatically on its own.
The system of the jeep made an instant robotic sound at it, "PLEASE TELL YOUR DESTINATION!"
Shuzo replied to it, "TO THE SOUTH OF THE FAR URBAN SIDE!"
The system records it.
It then made the statement, "YOUR DESTINATION HAS BEEN SET. PLEASE FOLLOW THE ROUTE DISPLAY ON THE SCREEN"
The screen of the jeep then instantly showed the route that the jeep has to move.
Thrilled to shove onto the next adventure, Cuifen declared in excitement, "Alright! Let the adventures begin!"
Shuzo turned to glance at her in amazement.
It was rare to see this cheerful and wild side of Leina.
Never did he thought that Leina could be this fun to be with.
This girl seems to not worry about her life. She was all in for it. She has no fear in her. Cuifen's nature made Shuzo loosen up a little bit. He was liking it.
It was sensible for Shuzo to think of Leina that way because the previous Leina has a serious and fiery nature in her. She was quite a fighter as well.
Ever since Cuifen's soul has entered her body. Her character went on a drastic change.
The normal reaction of Leina in that type of mission should be in an all serious mode to complete the mission.
She was sharp, stern and analytical.
Leina was never the easygoing type in her every mission. She was all into it focusing on completing the mission.
While Cuifen on the side was having all the fun as she dives into adventures of this new world.
Because that she was not from that world, Cuifen neither fear for her life nor was busy contemplating on the mission.
Her only thought was to move on, live in the moment and find a way back to return to her original life.
Entering into the future era, going on a strange mission was like a fantasy for Cuifen.
She followed the direction of the system and drove off the jeep from the unit.
As soon as they leave the place, the big giant gate of the unit instantly closes.
