บท 3: Chapter 3: The Vega
It is the heartthrob of the region filled with extraordinary amenities formulated with the latest technology. This special Unit camp also called the VEGA is a mega five hundred thousand sq. foot wonder and is completely gigantic and gorgeous.
It is a mansion of geometric walls and ceilings plus amenities walls of glass.
The glass door opens to merge inside and outside into one breathtaking masterpiece. It has a private movie theatre with a capacity for hundred people and a hundred car parking gallery.
With hundred bedrooms and hundred and fifty bathrooms and many swimming pools, the special unit feels like an exclusive motel than a home traversing the entire crest of a hilltop.
The whole campus of Vega has air purifiers that filter out viruses and has very own smart smoke detectors. It was punishable to smoke inside the campus of Vega.
This massive Vega has its gym, electronic fitness, app-controlled skylights and a customizable security system.
Each corner of the Vega campus is equipped with security cameras and hence every activity of a person is being monitored on its monitor controlled room.
This giant Vega has 50 of its kitchen which is fully equipped with a variety of smart kitchen appliances. The fridge of each kitchen is fully packed with foods, vegetables, cans fish, meats and drinks of all kinds.
Every member of the special unit also enjoys a bathroom with special features, fully programmable showers as well as smart mirrors.
This Vega has its movie theatre for the members of the special unit with a capacity of hundred guests and has its very own nightclub.
The private space of every unit can be controlled by its owner. The temperature, lighting and sound system can be controlled via the smartphone according to their owner's preference.
Upon reaching the Vega, Shuzo drove his car towards the parking arena and parked his car there. Soon after parking the car, he shortly opens the back door and took out Leina from the car. He holds her in his arms, locked the car and went towards the lift. Upon reaching the lift, Shuzo stands before the lift and made the screen of the lift to scanned his face.
The electronic screen of the lift immediately scanned his identity flashing out his details on the screen and immediately opens up the lift.
Shuzo rushed inside it, while the lift automatic system takes him to the centre of the Vega.
His fellow mates were already assembled on the centre of the Vega wearing their usual special unit uniform. It seems like they were assigned another task.
As soon as they saw Shuzo entering the hall while holding Leina in his arms everyone was staring blankly at him. Shuzo feeling uneasy looked aside and continue to move. Upon noticing him one of his friends, Kane rushed to him and inquired with a concerned face, "Shuzo...how is Leina?!"
Shuzo responded to him distraughtly, "The nurse said that she will wake up by evening's time!"
Kane pats him on his back and spoke out in relief, "That's good then...I gotta go...!"
Kane was then hurried to leave the spot, puzzled by it Shuzo hold back his arm and questioned solemnly, "Where are you guys going between?!"
Kane answered to it cooly, "It's usual to crack some heads!"
Shuzo spoke to him in a serious tone, "Well then...stay safe!"
Kane responded to it smilingly, "Cool..! Take care of Leina..bye-bye!"
After noting those words, Kane rushed towards his crew while Shuzo on the other side moves towards the elevator.
The elevator screens him again as usual and opened to take him up where his unit was.
Every cabin of the Vega was assigned with numbers and was called units.
Shuzo had stayed with his stepsister Leina at Unit number 77. They are not real siblings by birth. Shuzo was brought up alone by his father Akihiro which were one of the superior members of the Special Unit. His wife had died early at the time of Shuzo's birth, therefore, he single-handedly takes all the responsibility of taking care of small Shuzo and brought him up by himself without anyone's help.
When Shuzo was eighteenth years old, his father had finally fallen in love again with Ruolan who is a fellow superior member of the Special Unit.
Because of the countless numbers of life and death mission that they struggled together both of them had finally developed feelings for each other and was again in love.
It was then that they finally decided to get married therefore, they introduced their child to each other.
Leina was the only daughter of Ruolan, her dad Dr Feng was a famous doctor of the Special Unit.
When Leina was fourteen years old, her dad had passed away strangely. He was fit and fine back then. The Special Unit had kept his death a secret all this time.
When her mother Ruolan and Leina asked about it they simply told them that he had passed away because of the stroke and didn't hand them the confidential documents of his death saying the death of the members of the special unit has to keep confidential.
No one was allowed to get the confidential document even the family members.
Since Ruolan and Akihiro were members of the special units, therefore, their children Shuzo and Leina had the privilege to become a member of the special unit.
It was on the day of Shuzo's 22 birthday. His father Akihiro had prepared a small party with Ruolan and her daughter Leina.
It was on that day that Akihiro had announced his marriage with Ruolan and declared that Leina is going to be his step-sister.
Shuzo was thrilled at his father's happiness while on the other side Leina was pissed off thinking this Akihiro is going to be her new dad.
She was a cute lovely angel of her dad, therefore, didn't want a new dad.
While Shuzo on the other end was brimming with happiness thinking he had found a new sister. He had like her the moment he saw her.
