บท 14: Chapter 14: The monitored control room
Surprised by it, Cuifen exclaimed in wonderment, "Woah..! This face cream is amazing. The immediate effects are great"
She then observed at the mirror turning her face from side to side.
Because that the technology over that time is so advanced the quality of the creams were of top-notch. It was as if they can now reverse the age as well using high-end technology.
Quite liking it, Cuifen smiled to herself and spoke up while gawking at the mirror, "Not bad! You are looking good"
She then lamented over it, "Only if I could take it back to my place. I would become the most beautiful actress who never grew old, no one would be on par with me!"
She was then amusing herself.
Eager to try on the other cosmetics, Cuifen quickly take them one after another and was applying them all onto her face.
Because that it's been a while she has done her makeup, she wanted to do it to her new face as well.
With the beautiful well-proportioned face, Cuifen believed that it would look good with the make-up.
She took out all of the make-up items one after another and were spreading onto the table.
She then started to do her eyes, with that eyeliner. Because that Leina's eyes were pretty, Cuifen made it even more distinguished and beautiful with her make-up skills.
Since she is a professional actor herself, she usually does her makeup from time to time, therefore, it was nothing for her. She then put on the lipstick.
After all, the makeup was done, Cuifen turned to look at the mirror. She was quite liking the image she saw in it.
She then blow dry her hair and made it curl, creating beautiful beach waves.
The make-up and hair were done perfectly that Cuifen was looking so beautiful and radiating. She looks like she came out straight from the anime character.
She then went to the closet and changed herself to the black joggers and a white top, looking hot and beautiful.
Feeling renewed and fresh she come out of her room and headed towards the freezer to get the fresh juice.
Cuifen took out the fresh apple juice and drank it all.
As she comes out from there, Shuzo too comes out from his room getting all dressed.
He was wearing black cargo pants with long black shirts.
His hair was half tied giving off that charming, attractive and cool vibe.
Upon seeing Leina with the new makeup and dresses, looking so charming and beautiful.
He turned to her and spoke up in curiosity, "Woah...you did your make-up?!"
Cuifen turned to look at him unbelievably and replied, "Why?! Is it the first time that you are seeing me putting on the make-up?!"
Shuzo turned to look aside making a face and replied in awkwardness, "Well...kind of...! Between I am going out to get intel for Kane"
He finished the topic on it.
Intrigued by it, Cuifen turned to Shuzo and enunciated optimistically, "Well then...I will come as well!"
The behaviour of this Leina was sort of awkward. She was never the person who would be so interested in other affairs and even in friendship. She was always the cold one out and was never a friendly person. But now she is suddenly saying that she wants to tag along with him and to check up on his friend?!
Furthermore, she is even doing this new makeup and was taking care of her appearance. This wasn't the Leina that he knew before.
Bewildered by it, Shuzo turned to look at her incredibly and inquired in amusement, "You are coming?!"
While Shuzo was glancing at her with a curious look, Cuifen gave him a big bright smile and spoke up in cheesiness, "Yes...tag me along! Besides that, you need to teach me all about our parents, your friends and all. My memory has been lost and it won't be a good thing if they find it out. You know it better don't you?"
She was then giving him a big bright smile.
Shuzo was left staring at her with his deep intoxicating eyes. His fake sister has been changing for real.
Ever since her brain got hit, she didn't remember nothing of their parents and her personality too changed all of a sudden like she is some sort of a different person.
To make sure that she didn't forget about their parents, Shuzo explained to her in details, "We are not blood related and are brought up differently. Akihiro is my father and he is one of the superior of the Special units. My mother died at the time she gave birth to me"
Baffled by it, Cuifen inquired him about her parents, "Then...who are my parents?!"
"Your mother is Ruolan, she works the same with my father. I heard your dad, Dr Feng had passed away with a strange disease. Since both my dad and your mom worked together, they finally fall in love again and are going to be married by the end of this month"
Seems like their parents history were a bit twisted.
Cuifen shooked her head faintly and responded consciously, "Ahh....so that's how it is..."
Shuzo scoffed at her weird conduct and replied in charms, "Well..then....tagged along. I will try my best to bring all of your memories back"
Cuifen smiled at it and hurried to walk beside him to follow him around.
The two of them then walked out of their unit.
Cuifen's eyes were left sparkled as she saw the beautiful structure of the giant Vega. It was massive and looks extraordinarily beautiful.
It wasn't the first time that she saw the place but still, she was left amazed by the technology that has advanced over time in the future.
She followed Shuzo around like a small innocent puppy keenly following her master.
The two of them then went towards the lift. The electronic screens of the lifts scanned their identity and instantly opened.
They get inside there.
As soon as they got inside, the lift automatic system made the robotic sound, "WHERE DO YOU WANT TO GO TO SU110 and SU111?!"
Shuzo replied to it, "Take us to the gym"
The system process it and replied, "OFF YOU GO"
With an instant boom, the two were then taken to the gym of the massive Vega.
Arriving there, they walked out from the lift and moved forward to the gym. Cuifen was left amused by the giant structure that her eyes were left gawking around in awe.
She then went to Shuzo and inquired in excitement, "Who are we meeting?!"
Shuzo replied to it consciously, "We are meeting William, Kane's roommate!"
"What's his....?!", before Cuifen could inquire him furthermore.
Shuzo's sharp reflexes instantly grabbed her and dragged her out from the viewpoint of the security camera.
He then covers her mouth with his hands and shushed her in observance, "Be quiet. There are security cameras everywhere. They are watching from the monitored control room!"
Stunned by it, Cuifen was left bewildered. Her sparkly eyes were left gawking at Shuzo in bewilderment.
Acknowledging her startling act, Shuzo quickly releases her and advised in a modest, "Don't do anything out of the character. Stay by my side and follow my lead"
"Do you get it?!", he then turned to look at her with intensity.
From the looks of his eyes, Cuifen can tell that this guy indeed cares for Leina. It's all written in his eyes.
Cuifen consciously shooked her head at it and spoke up in confidence, "Oh. Okay. I got it. I will survive"
Shuzo was left bewildered by her bizarre answer that he turned to her and was like, 'Wait..! What?!!'
