Adriana and the six roses stumbled up the stairs leading out of the dungeons, with Adriana taking the lead. At the height of the stairs, Adriana took a cursory glance left and right.

"Is the coast clear?" Diana asked from behind.

Adriana turned. "Clear," Diana was next in line behind her, then Tamara and Ariana lifting Nebra behind them. However, taking the rear were a mass number of demons who Adriana had insisted they released from their jail cells.

Seamus– whom Adriana had met the first time she was jailed along with Abaddon–was leading their rebellion. He was in no way pleased to know that Leonidas had killed his best friend, he wanted revenge and was aiming to weaken Leonidas' strong hold on the palace.
