I gave this a 1 / 5 a few weeks ago because I mistook it with another story. This story is actually really creative. NON OP MC Using science and involving muggle experts Using politics & outsmarting opponents instead of brute forcing it Actually this story is great. The translation is great too... not even that obvious that it's a chinese story. The translator does a great job localizing it by getting rid of a ton of chinese idioms. Overall this story is great. Might actually pay 5 bucks to read the rest on his patreon. Keep up the good work.

This story is absolutely amazing. The scientific approach to magic is well thought out and implemented as well as how the main character goes about conducting this experiment. The only issue with the story is that many names get misspelled such as one of the companies the mc creates. Also, the author confuses goblins with fairies. Other than that, this story is a fresh take on combining technology, magic, future ideas, and world building. I highly recommend people read this story!

I feel like the author would be able to write a great star wars story with a sith MC going the technology/alchemy path. I like many ideas in this fanfic though mindseed was a bit much, also it would be nice if someone edited the few naming/translation errors.
I enjoy the in depth explanations and looks into the function and unique attributes of magic and science and how they interact. It is not new but the presentation and in depth analysis is interesting and something I rarely see.

if you don't think to hard it is great around 70 chapters in and it slaps. couple problems with names but not much and if you ain't looking it is quite hard to find Chinese influence if this is a Chinese MTL (idk if it is can't really tell).

But the story is... very chinese, stranger, stupid and messy. The protagonist is autistic or suffers from a mental illness, since his unpredictable and psychotic behavior is totally inexplicable, which does nothing to help build or identify with his character. Maybe the fact that he was Asian in his other life is what makes him seem mentally ill and a danger to others.
