บท 13: Hogwarts Express (pt.2)

"It just takes more time and I have to store magic on it beforehand." said Hermione stunning the others.

"THATS UNFAIR" cried everyone.

….

As the young people continued to express frustration about the impartiality of the world, in a nearby compartment another group of young people were engaged in a heated conversation.

"Don't you think that you are being extreme Albus?" furiously asked a girl, who oddly looked as a female Albus would.

"You don't understand Ariana. I am actually being very considerate. I just said that we should take the muggleborn wizards and witches and place them in a wizard family. Sure it's awful that we would have to obliviate the kid's family memories of them but it beats Gellert's idea by far." answered dumbledore CALMLY.

"Huh? Gellert, what is Albus talking about?" asked Ariana as she turned her head to the juvenile sitting next to Albus.

The last youth in the compartment looked at Ariana. His blonde hair falling over his forehead as he leaned back in his seat. He was tall and lean, with sharp, angular features that made him appear almost predatory. Despite his youthful appearance, there was a coldness in his eyes that seemed to belie his age. He wore a black coat over a crisp white shirt, the collar neatly pressed and his tie done up in a perfect knot. He exuded an air of confidence and superiority that made him both alluring and intimidating at the same time.

Gellert threw Albus a dirty glare as he replied "Nothing at all".

Ariana narrowed her eyes suspiciously at Gellert but didn't press further. She turned back to Albus and shook her head and said.

"I still don't think it's right. It's not fair to separate families like that. And what about the muggleborns who don't want to be separated? They should have a choice too." to which Albus sighed.

"I understand your concern, Ariana. But we have to think about the greater good. If we don't take action, there could be a war between the muggles and wizards. We have to protect our kind." said Albus.

"I agree with Albus. We can't risk exposing ourselves to the muggles. And if it means using force to protect our kind, then so be it." Gellert spoke up in a cold and calculated tone.

"You can't just use force to get what you want. That's not right," said Ariana looking at Gellert with a mixture of fear and disgust making Gellert sneer.

"You're just naive, Ariana. You don't understand the real world. We have to do whatever it takes to survive" said Gellert.

Albus put a hand on Ariana's shoulder, trying to calm her down. "Let's not argue anymore and try to focus on finding a solution that works for everyone."

"We won't be deciding anything without Aberfort. I'm going to get him," she said while pushing Albus' hand away from her shoulder and heading out of the compartment.

As she was leaving she couldn't shake the feeling that something was off about Gellert. When she left, Gellert turned back to Albus. "Your sister may prove to be a nuisance. Especially if she brings your older brother into this."

"I know. Don't worry though, I will figure something out," said Albus before moving closer to Gellert.

When he was a step away from Gellert, Albus turned around and took out his wand, casting a spell at the door. "Enough about that. We haven't had some alone time since last year."

Before Gellert could reply, Albus was already exploring his mouth.

….

In another compartment, two boys and a girl were calmly speaking.

"Cousin, I know you are engaged to Harry but don't you think you are being too clingy? You are being like that muggle food. What was it called? Something like chew and gun." said seriously a young man.

Sixteen-year-old Sirius Black stood tall and proud, his lean form exuding a confidence that bordered on arrogance. His striking good looks were a combination of his chiselled features, piercing grey eyes, and thick black hair that fell in dishevelled waves around his face.

He wore a tight-fitting shirt that accentuated his broad shoulders and muscular arms, paired with worn jeans that hugged his long, lean legs. A leather jacket completed the ensemble, adding a touch of rebelliousness to his already daring persona. His easy smile and quick wit belied the depths of his emotions, which ran deep and strong.

Bellatrix Black like her cousin stood tall and poised. Her regal bearing and sharp features excluded an air of sophistication and confidence. Her piercing blue eyes gleamed with intelligence, and her jet-black hair was pulled back into a neat bun, revealing the sharp angles of her face.

She wore a form-fitting black dress that clung to her curves, accentuating her slender figure. The high neckline and long sleeves gave the impression of a proper lady, but the slit up the thigh hinted at a more daring side to her personality. She was currently holding another young boy's hand.

The young boy whose name was Harry looked at the two cousins with amusement. His messy black hair was styled in a windswept manner, and his bright green eyes sparkled with intelligence and wit.

He wore a simple yet stylish outfit that consisted of a plain white t-shirt, a leather jacket, and dark jeans that hugged his lean legs. The outfit was completed with a pair of sleek boots that added an air of confidence and power to his stride.

If anyone who knew Harry Potter from a certain other universe looked at the boy, they wouldn't be able to tell that he was Harry Potter. He didn't even have a scar!

"What are you talking about, cousin? How can I be considered clingy when compared to you? If Harry's sister was here right now she'd be sitting on your lap" Bellatrix said as a matter of factly.

Sirius' face turned deadpan. "She would not be doing anything of the sort. We'd be banging in the toilets by now."

Harry's eyes were fixed on his vulgar friend as he scrutinized him. "Sadly for us and every Hogwarts student, we won't be able to enjoy my sister's moaning and whimpering for at least another year."

Bellatrix could only nod at her fiance's words while Sirius laughed.

As the train rumbled on towards Hogwarts, the three teenagers continued their conversation, occasionally punctuated by bursts of laughter and teasing. For a moment, it felt like nothing else in the world mattered except the bonds they shared.

….

Jace exhaled. "That's pretty much my whole life story."

The faces of his three compartment mates were full of shock and compassion.
