บท 35: Comeback

Sora cut off the head of the sorcerer infront of him whom he had been fighting for a while.

"Even though we applied the barrier to lessen their power,they are still formidable as ever"

He sat down in the middle of the hallway looking at the rest of his squad cleaning the hallway of the remaining sorcerers.

Or what was left of them anyways.

Suddenly,he felt the whole building shake and heard the voice of thunder rumbling outside.

"It surely wasn't rainy today,was it?"

Another man who had just finished killing asked while seating himself besides Sora.

"The barrier,Yutsu" he looked at the man to his right "It has been broken but its not like it matters at this point".

He looked above as if he could see the barrier.

"It must've been Kuro"

He turned towards Yutsu whose faced looked for an explanation.

"Kuro is the number two in this mansion. Killing him takes top priority so Sogo and Getsugo were sent to kill him

since we knew he would be the one to try and disable the barrier"

He kept talking without looking at him

"But the fact that the barrier has been broken means that both Sogo and Getsugo are already dead" he continued "which means we are at a disadvantage knowing oldman is still out there and Akimitsu is still uncaptured meaning our primary objectives haven't been fulfilled".

Something was thrown infront of him on the ground.

It was a person whom he rolled towards him to recognize its face.

It was Akimitsu.

"One of our objectives is now fulfilled,isn't it?"

He looked up to look at Akane.

"You for real managed to capture him?"Sora laughed while asking.

"I thought it'd be easier but I have my sources to get stuff done"

But Sora was looking at the body infront of him.

Suddenly,he started kicking Akimitsu in the face again and again trying to disfigure it as much as possible.

Akane looked at him with disgust.

"You really thought you were untouchable,huh?You really thought you were gonna get away with everything?"

He kept kicking him until he was out of breath and no one dared to stop him while he was beating the shit out of him.

Once he stopped,he looked towards the other person hanging on shoulder of one of Akeno's subordinates.

"Is that four-eyes?"

He signalled towards Ahihito.

Without hesitating for a moment,he grabbed him and started kicking him in the face just like he did with Akimitsu and again no one stopped him.

Meanwhile,Akimitsu just woke up from his slumber and heard a body being beaten around him.

From the sound of it,it was being kicked around again and again.

His eyes opened slightly and he was horrified to see what was infront of him.

Ahihito's face was completely bloody and he was gasping for breath.

He could not make it who was kicking him.

Finally it stopped and he heard footsteps nearing him.

"Is that bitch over there Fumiko...?"

Akimitsu's heart skipped a beat.

"DON'T PLEASE DON'T..."

He was internally begging for him to stop and he could not move himself neither speak no matter how much he tried.

"That's enough,Sora"

Akane stood informed of him to stop him from going any further.

"What makes you think I can't do what I want to do with her?"Sora shot at her.

"The fact that she is with me and that she"ll be going with me,is that enough?"

She had her hand in her pockets.It was obvious she was holding the guns in her hands.

"Actually what makes you even think I was ever handing any of them to you?" she asked smirking.

Sora was getting irritated the more and more she spoke.

"What did you say,bitch?"

She chuckled.

"I seem to get called that a lot,don't I?"

She straightened herself infront of him.

"I just brought them to tell you I've captured them that was all but you probabaly thought I was gonna hand them over to you because you thought I was one of your lackeys,right?"

Sora did not answer.He was just getting angrier and angrier at the audacity of the girl infront of him.

"What were the rules of the battle Sora?Wasn't it that whoever captures the trophy gets to keep it?In that case haven't you just defiled my trophy?Shouldn't I also you defile you for that very reason".

Sora brought his sword out pointing it towards Akane.

"You stupid bitch don't you realize that they have killed Sugo and Getsugo???"

Akane smirked and motioned for him to look towards his left.

Out of thin air,Sugo and Getsugo emerged.

Sugo,a tall man with gray hair and Getsugo,also tall but not as much as Sugo were looking at all of them.

Both of them wore black robes which had been half ripped due to their battle with Ruko and they also had wounds here and there.

'You two are alive?"Sora asked in confusion"but what about the barrier being broken?"

Sugo looked at him with a smile.

"Man he was a tough nut to crack;he was good at copying techniques so he created another one to break ours and well here we are"

Getsugo answered Sora's main question.

"He is most probably dead so don't you worry about that"

Akane looked at Sora smiling.

"And you were saying something Sora?"

She was taunting him making him more and more angry.

"So what's this fiasco between you guys?"

Sugo asked curiously stepping himself in between both of them.

"Sugo remind me" she looked at Sora "Who was supposed to keep the trophies if someone captured them?"

Sora tried to say something but Sugo put a finger on his mouth.

He looked up thinking to himself.

"If Iam sure it was the person who found or captured them,right?" he looked towards Getsugo waiting for his answer

Getsugo nodded in response.

Sugo looked towards Yutsu.

"Yutsu,who brought all of them over here?"

Everyone was looking towards Yutsu at that point.

Sora lookes into his eyes telling him to say it was him.

"So,who was it?"

Sugo asked for the second time and his tone had gotten more serious.

"It was Akane;she was the one who brought all of them over here"he answered honestly.

Sugo looked towards Sora.

"Well that settles the matter"

He motioned for Akane to grab the bodies.

"Who the bloody hell do you think you are?"

Sora aimed his sword at Sugo trying to intimidate him but Sugo held him up by his collar punched him in the stomach.

"Do you think you are the boss because your brother is?You don't own any of us and you will be certainly paying for what you've done infront of him"he gripped his throat tighter.

At that moment,Sugo felt real fear for the first time;the type which he had never felt before.

"What a formidable power;its even greater than boss's power itself"

Shivers ran through his spine.

Sora was trembling in his hands shaking violently.

After a moment,Sugo finally got a hold of himself and made himself look at his back from where the terrible sensation was coming.

Yutsu was standing infront of both of them freezed in a single position.

Once the smoke started to clear,the face of the culprit became more and more visible.

"Seems like I was a little late,huh?"

The oldman smiled looking at Sugo's face full of fear.
