"Yeah. I think you should go ahead and do that." Kian said mindlessly. His voice sounded lifeless and even though he was trying to look as though he was fine, Daphne could see the sadness in his eyes.
Daphne could swear that if she asked Kian about the last word she said, he wouldn't be about to give her an answer. He was just saying a few random words to make it seem as though he was listening to her. 'Okay, that's.' Daphne thought. She wasn't going to pretend anymore as though she didn't know that something was wrong with Kian.
"Why are you acting like this?" Daphne stood to her feet and placed her hands on her hip, her face strict as she glared at Kian. She didn't spend her time escaping from Esther to meet Kian like this.
