"I'm already aware of the situation I'm in." Kian was tired of having the same conversation with Daphne. He knew that Daphne thought that he didn't understand her, but she was the one who didn't understand him. She refused to listen.
"I don't think you do," Daphne said glaring at Kian. "If you do, you wouldn't refuse me."
'why is he such a stubborn man.' Daphne thought. 'Can't he see that I have the power to ruin him?'
"I didn't refuse you, I agreed to go out with you. It's not my fault that you don't want us to date anymore. I can't do anything more than that for you."
"Why can't you?!" Daphne asks in anger.
"I can't," Kian said again with a certain look of helplessness that flashed through his eyes. It wasn't because of Daphne. But it was because of something else, something Daphne wasn't aware of. "Even if I wanted to, I truly can't do it."
