After confirming that the merchant was trying to run away with these gold bricks, for some reason, Max decided to knock him unconscious and brought him to the guards near the entrance. The mission didn't fail even when he did that, so it was the correct choice.

But… He was somehow looked at by the guard suspiciously after he handed over the merchant and was told to wait in a small room with only two chairs and a simple wooden table in between.

— Those guys are really strong. They can detain Breeze. How scary… Not even Hutch and Huh Ah were spared, but… how scary

"I don't think it will end up like this too…" Max sighed as he leaned back on his chair. The cutscene didn't play out, so this was still part of the mission. "Is the next mission breaking out of this room?" He smirked, imagining whether it was true.
