It was heartwarming to be surrounded by all the people he cared about after completing his fusion, so the first thing Chojusen did after regaining control of his body was to celebrate with a feast. He used his newly established Ultimate Omega Dao of Reality to push his cooking beyond what should be considered possible and created a feast for everyone to enjoy.
Surrounded by the people he cared about and now attaining control over reality itself, Chojusen became known as the Monarch of Reality. He could at any moment chose to leave for the final seventh plane after binding the Omniverse's Ultimate Prime Essences to himself, but living for the past million or so years taught Chojusen the joys of exploring all there was to be seen.
So, before making the final leap, Chojusen spent an absurd amount of time going to every single chaosworld, within every Realmverse, within every Chaosverse, in the entirety of the Omniverse. Even when he was done visiting and seeing all there was to be seen, Chojusen and his family started to roleplay across the Omniverse.
Sometimes the roleplaying would help with cultivation and give his family insights towards their Daos, but for Chojusen it was more of a form of entertainment. He tried to keep track of how long he spent in his conquest to see everything within the Omniverse, but after a trillion chaos cycles came and went in the blink of an eye, Chojusen stopped counting.
In this time, Chojusen and everyone he cared about reached the peak of possible power. Omega Autarchs now littered the Omniverse of the sixth plane, with more than 99% being Chojusen or someone related to him. Chojusen's wives each gave Chojusen one child, who in this long period of time all became as strong as them.
Karin, Chojusen's first love, gave birth to his first daughter and as mother and daughter they became Omega Autarchs of Water and Ice respectively. Ino gave birth to Chojusen's second daughter, she became an Autarch of Fire, while her daughter became an Autarch of Magnetism. Kaguya gave birth to Chojusen's first son, she became an Autarch of Spacetime, while her son became an Autarch of Artifacting.
Akeno gave birth to Chojusen's third daughter, she became an Autarch of Cataclysm — Holy and Demon Daos fused — while her daughter became an Autarch of the pure Holy Dao. Asia gave birth to Chojusen's second son, she became an Autarch of Chaos while her son became an Autarch of Void. Rias mastered the Oblivion Dao to Autarchy and gave birth to Chojusen's third son, who later went on to become an Autarch of Karma.
Koneko took an extreme turn and chose to master a Dao Chojusen hadn't studied before; the Dao of Divinity. Through immense hard work — and with Chojusen's ridiculous book of Dao Origin — she became an Omega Autarch of Divinity, and also gave Chojusen his fourth daughter, who then went on to become an Autarch of Snow.
Chokogo became an Autarch of Taiji, while the daughter she gave Chojusen became an Autarch of Infinity. Ravel became an Autarch of Yang, and gave birth to yet another daughter for Chojusen, who later achieved Autarchy through the Dao of Yin. Long Yuyin kept the daughter streak going — giving him a seventh daughter —, she became a Heartforce Autarch, while her daughter became an Autarch of Samsara.
Boa Hancock became an Autarch through the Dao of Illusion and gave birth to Chojusen's fourth son, a man that would later become an Autarch of Hail. Carrot became an Autarch of Lightning, and gave birth to Chojusen's eight daughter, a terrifying woman that later caused much destruction with her Omega Autarch level Dao of Destruction.
Even relatively untalented people like Chojusen's parents eventually reached Autarchy with all the time that passed. The Ninja World would go on to produce several Autarchs every couple thousand chaos cycles. The Underworld, Heaven, and the various hidden dimensions of the second plane would also churn out Autarchs of Holy and Demon Daos at a similar pace.
Worlds of Cultivation like the one in the Third Plane would birth many geniuses of myriad Daos, so cultivators from institutions Chojusen and others of his level left behind always gave people the chance to ascend like they had. The Fourth Plane had many weird locales just on the pirate world. They had a complete Dao of Will established and other Daos could be used; if only there was energy, perhaps the rate of people ascending from that place would be much higher…
The fifth plane had the highest rate of ascenders and for good reason… they only needed to train in energy and body refining to gain strength. Of course, mastering a Dao or two would be of tremendous help, but seriously… it was too easy — at least in Chojusen's opinion. Even people like Krillin could become star destroying calamities after only a couple decades of training, so more talented people would easily become galaxy or even universe destroying powerhouses.
And now, in the sixth plane… Chojusen and all of the people by his side had long since become Autarchs, they had been around for a disgusting amount of time. Witnessing all there was to see… It was finally time for Chojusen to make the last ascension. The time had come at last.
In his current omnipotent state, Chojusen no longer had to separate his soul to make an avatar for ascending. The Dao Tree in his Jindan's Chaosregion had all the Ultimate Prime Essences of the Omniverse neatly stored away; completely mastered. As was the case, Chojusen just sliced a tear through the interplanar void and made his way to the final frontier.
…
Like any ascension, Chojusen had to follow the system's instructions on where to go, else he would just be moving about in circles. After he reached a plane in the past, he would follow the system's routes to travel to and from the different planes as the result of not following the system's guidance would just cause Chojusen to mindlessly fly through the infinite void; and it truly was infinite, as Chojusen could tell, now that he had his Dao of Reality mastered, that the interplanar void was expanding in all directions at an accelerated pace.
Even with all his achievements and endless powers, in this truly infinite interplanar void, Chojusen only saw static noise and the sixth previously explored planes. He had once tried to explore the void to see if there were other planes, but the result was him getting lost for a couple chaos cycles; and this was with the help of his Final Shuttle going through the void at decillions of kilometers per second.
As he crossed through the void, Chojusen smiled to himself wondering what kind of new world this last seventh plane would show him. Would it be a world of cultivation? Or an energyless world? Would there be a hierarchy of worlds? Or would it be a single contained universe?
Chojusen kept foolishly smiling to himself as his Shuttle travelled through the interplanar void, when suddenly.
[Chojusen... Congratulations, you've completely your journey! Our time together has finally reached its end...]
Chojusen was caught a bit off guard. He had more or less expected for the system to be like this after he finished conquering the final seventh plane. Not to mention… this was the first time the system addressed Chojusen by his name; it felt odd and creepy. Throughout the six planes worth of adventure, Chojusen had grown to start playing around with the system, even treating it like a family member; it was after all a being trapped in Chojusen's soul, which experienced all that Chojusen experienced.
"So you're finally going to tell me where you came from and why I became your host?"
[Yes… I think the time for that has come.] An awkward silence pervaded the ship as Chojusen waited for a minute without hearing a response from the system.
"Ok? So… are you going to tell me or what?"
[Well, where do we start? I guess I'll start by telling you a little story.]
Chojusen wasn't too amused with the roundabout path the system was taking this conversation, but had grown used to wasting exorbitant amounts of time by now. Having to hear a story wouldn't make him impatient. "Pray tell~"
[Long, long ago, countless aeons ago, there used to be nothing in this infinite void we are currently travelling though. Even the void itself wasn't present. Only a small ball energy laid in this area where nothing existed; lets call it the Ball of Beginning. Now, this ball of energy might be "small," so to speak, but in truth of the matter is that all of the energy that pervades through existence came from this ball, including you, me, the planes, the Daos, and every living thing around.]
Chojusen was stunned silly, but he kept quiet to let the system finish its story. Though he felt unsettled for some reason.
[This ball of energy remained stopped, unmoving for several eternities. Uh… to put it into perspective, if we compare your current time being alive against that ball of energy, before its movement, you would be comparable to less than a quintillionth a second if the ball's life span was that of a mortal's.
Anyways, as the ball stood in the nothingness that surrounded it, it developed extremely slowly and eventually burst apart to form the ever expanding void which houses all of the planes.
From the ball, most of its energy used to create the void and the basis for Daos, but a minute fraction of the ball's energy coalesced to create the first living being. This "being" was the first living and sentient thing to appear in all of the cosmos and after being around for a while, with nothing to do, it used its powers to establish the first plane.
There it played god for a while, but eventually left to create a higher plane with more sophisticated rules and creatures. But the "first being" noticed that every time it spent some of its energy creating a plane, it would forever lose that power. Distraught by this, the creature, for the longest time, refused to interact with the world and stopped using its powers.
One day, the being noticed that some of the creatures it had arbitrarily created start gaining power, but the planes weren't crumbling apart. Intrigued by how the world it created could support other's growth in power without destroying the foundation of the planes themselves, the creature began to experiment with its own powers. In the end, it discovered that the planes it created with its innate energy were capable of drawing in energy from the surrounding expanding void of the Ball of Beginnings.
With this revelation came a plan to harvest energy for the creature to continue the only activity it found enjoyable; creating higher and higher planes. The first being tried to train to gain more energy from the void to increase its reserves of power, but it found that it trained much slower that the other creatures it had created.
It would take trillions of times the efforts as its own creations to reach their levels of power, which was fine for a time. During the time when there were only three planes, only energy was required to be accumulated for their creation, so with the passing time, the "first being" eventually made them. But then for the fourth plane, a catalyst in the form of the Dao was required.
The "first being" couldn't not train in the Dao at all and it needed one to stabilize a plane as grand as the fourth plane it envisioned. Thus, when it had lost hope for learning a Dao and its only source of joy taken away, it became wrathful and took another approach to complete its life's goal.]
Chojusen could hear the system's tone shift as it completed that last sentence. He had a feeling he was going to have a bad time…
[For the creation of the fourth plane, the "first being" used its innate powers to hijack the powers of one supreme cultivator proficient in the Dao of Wills and used his soul, which housed a full Dao to establish the fourth plane.]
Once Chojusen heard the word's "hijack," he felt fear for the first time in countless aeons… The uneasy sensation he felt started turning into dread.
[More time passed and eventually another person came along to create the complete Dao of Oblivion. This soul was used to establish the fifth plane and from the sixth plane came a woman who's Daos transcended all others, reaching Omega levels of the profound. This woman's soul managed to reach the Autarch level of Daobirth essence in the fifth plane giving rise to what would later become the Ultimate Prime Essences of the sixth plane's Omniverse.]
Chojusen almost felt the need to vomit after hearing that the Prime Essences tucked away in his Dantian were actually the remnants of a past cultivator's soul. He was less disgusted with the fact that they were once part of someone else, than by the fact that he had committed such an atrocious sin of augmenting his own strength with the cultivation of an ancestor; he held nothing but respect for the brave men and women that paved the way of the Dao, and just the thought that he had unintentionally stole a pioneer's work, set him off.
[And now, here we are...] The system continued, but its voice which had been gradually turning darker, now became murderous and a pressure started to suppress Chojusen from his very soul.
[You were one of the lucky few who had their souls saved from Samara by none other than me, the "first being." But don't think you're some special snowflake! There are billions of incarnates of myself in the form of systems that have been integrated in the many talented youths I keep an eye on with my innate powers.]
Chojusen was dumbstruck as the realization that this "first being" was actually the system. He had an inkling sensation of this being the case from the way the mood was turning, but it was still too abrupt for him to instantly digest.
[Now, now. Don't resist! I gave you everything you needed to live a life of complete fulfillment and would now like your soul as payback! That Dao of Reality of yours will be of great use to me and all the creatures that will arise from the next plane once I used it to create the seventh plane!]
"All this time, I was just a pawn for you to develop a higher Dao?"
[Exactly. And what a fine Dao of Reality you created! You know, the guy before you, who had a shot at creating the next highest Dao for my creation of the seventh plane, was actually the one who created the foundation of the Reality Dao Law Fragment. But he failed and you succeeded, now cough up the Dao of Reality for me!]
Chojusen felt an ancient and unstoppable power isolate him from his soul and the very culmination of his being started disintegrating into nothing. Time seemed to stop and Chojusen felt at a loss. He had come all this way and only ended up as a pawn… His soul being refined by a parasite that "rescued" him from his first death.
Chojusen tried to resist but in the face of that awesome power, the power that sparked existence itself, he felt like nothing. But as the feeling of this power crashed against his soul, it didn't cause it to crumble, rather, he was being nurtured? Chojusen didn't feigned weakness, he spoke as if he were dying. But in truth his soul was rapidly regenerating the impure sections that the system erased; now flawless to the extreme.
"All this time, you built me up to be the creator of the next biggest Dao. But did you ever think that maybe that would cause your own end?"
His words didn't match his weakness, bringing about confusion to the system. Still, it felt like everything was under its control. It had spent aeons sending incarnations of itself to invade the very souls of the people it deemed had the talent to one day create the next greatest Dao, all so that this very moment wouldn't go to waste.
[End ME? Who do you think you're talking to? I created everything and everyone. You included! So, just stay quiet and stop resisting, so I can use your sou...] The system became silent as it felt something odd. Its energy, the very same innate energy that came from the Ball of Beginnings, was being used to refine Chojusen's soul. But now, the system felt that the energy wasn't being used… it was being dragged out! And the rate at which this innate energy left him was increasing out of its control!
"What was that you were saying?" Chojusen even in this situation was too overpowered for his own good…
[NO! That can't be! How can you used my innate energy? STOP!!!!]
"Stop? Who do you think you are? Trying to use me as a pawn. Ha! You only made me stronger by trying to refine my soul with natural Reality energy."
[Reality energy? You! Are you saying that my innate energy… my innate energy...]
"Its my energy now. Stupid system! Tsk, tsk, trying to fight the Master of the Dao of Reality with Reality Energy."
In that moment when Chojusen started to drag out the oppressive energy the system was using to lock down his soul and refine it, he understood that it was just a flip side to his reality energy. Chojusen also drew a connection with the ever expanding void after making contact with the system's innate and natural Reality energy. He understood the essence of existence, reality, and the will of both essences.
"Now, come merge with my soul for good!" Chojusen said, as he used a reverse seal of his own to trap this incarnation of the system for complete refinement. He then went on to to use his new found understanding of existence to locate all the traces of the systems' incarnations through the various planes and recouped all of them into himself.
Understanding all of Reality and Existence allowed Chojusen to teleport through the ever expanding void with no limits and claim all instances of the system before it could even try to run away.
With all of the system's pieces in the same place a hideous creature spawned in their place. This was the very first being the system mentioned and also its true form. The system now, tangible and real, looked distressed. It hatefully glared at Chojusen for ruining its plans and cursed at him to no end.
Chojusen dismissed these curse and forced the hideous system incarnate to be quiet. He said "You never once thought you'd end up as the pawn instead, did you?" He looked at the system who by now was fuming with tangible hatred and continued "You see… my Dao of Reality is the same as your innate energy! It seems your purpose as the ball of beginning intentioned was for you to be the final obstacle someone training in the Dao of Reality faced. So be a good system and turn into my power!"
With a final burst of power, Chojusen reclaimed the system into his soul and started refining it into innate Reality power. He returned to his friends and family and lived for several trillion more chaos cycles before one day completing the refining process of the system.
When the last instance of the system turn into his own personal innate Reality power, Chojusen felt the complete acceptance of Existence and Reality itself. He could now draw from the powers of the ever expanding void if he wished and could create and destroy planes as he saw fit. However, with this power came the realization that he was done training.
He had the powers of the ball of beginning and could create and destroy planes, but no plane he created would ever seen the rise of a Dao or strength more powerful than his own realized Dao of Reality. Chojusen now held the power of the strongest god of everything, and no one would ever be able to take it away from him. So, for the rest of eternity, Chojusen chilled back with his complete omnipotence to relaxed with his family.
Please do tell if the twist end was good or not, as I have very little experience writing or even reading the endings of books~
On A Side Note: Well, this was fun writing, BUT DON'T LEAVE ME YET. I'll post an afterword chapter either with this chapter's release or not to long after~
