Day drinking was not something Zeph looked fondly on, but he could not argue with Commissioner Justin Vaughn who just had a brush with death. 

That evening the two of them were made to sweat it out and sober up in the sauna before being allowed to even explain why they were so smashed that Zia dimed them out to Echo.

The two of them should have been given a medal in acknowledgment of their expertise in code-taking with how they use clever wordplay to say what really happened without Selena being let in on the shiny secret she didn't know about.

Bel had to explain it a little to Zimbo later but he picked up on her need to take a little trip with Zeph that he could not go on rather quickly.

"Amelia, you want to go spend some time with your mother? I would likely be in meetings the entire day, but we would have the trip to Central Command to talk."
