The necromantic attacks crashing against the holy barrier dissolved almost instantly.

The players' faces turned pale as they witnessed the scene. Each Purifier from the Holy Realm was extraordinarily powerful, and with the collective might of their barrier, there was no way they could break through.

Were they aiming to wipe them all out?

The group's spirits sank.

"Run! Retreat!"

Someone shouted, and the group quickly began to pull back.

"Norbert! What should we do?"

Since they had come under Norbert's command, their first instinct in a crisis was to consult him.

"I don't know. The Holy Realm's forces arrived too quickly!"

Norbert was preoccupied with thoughts of Fang Heng.

"What about the death knight's seal? Did it break?"

The group then remembered the death knight's seal. Given the time, their timed explosives should be going off soon.

They had probably been too far to sense any immediate changes.
